Haven't finished watching, I already know the answer: no. It's a product, if the company gave you enough gold for it to be profitable, then they would have to be operating at a loss. No company (outside of silicon valley) can survive like that, so they aren't going to give you enough gold to make a profit.

Imagine gifting someone a gold panning starter kit and a variety of pay-dirt to sample. Or, let’s say you bought a new sluice and want to run an efficiency test. These are just a couple of reasons people buy pay-dirt.

I can get you a better panning kit from here in Alaska. It’s $20 to pan here. It’s the lowest priced bag and can get a lot more than those bags. But I guess they need to make a profit. You need less water in the pan and you can’t swirl it too fast or too hard. Tweezers are good or tip it where the gold isn’t covered in water. Then pick up with a dry finger. Each time dry your finger.

For the black powder try using a magnet (it should be magnetite that is rich in iron)
