For those who think Stew was mad at Grim, he wasn't. It was @ Fallen. Stew wanted Fallen to die because he only had a USP and 5hp, and NaVi are less likely to expect Stewie to be sitting on ramp too. But Fallen was hiding and let electronic walk onto site and kill both of them instead of being the bait for Stewie. It had nothing to do with Grim.

Tough misplays happens but i think the problem was that Stewie got tilted after this round and he wasn’t even looking at fallen the next round they won. Considering they were doing soo well its sad to see that happening on their last series.

And the very next round Stewie makes a mistake of not clearing an angle and loses the round .

This is the kinda stuff you discuss after the match, I think it's unacceptable for a pro to blame his teammates

Rule number one: dont be toxic during the match after maybe Rule 2: never speak about the fight club

The prob behind this situation is fallen was low but he didn’t want to go 1st, while stew was on fire with 3 deags. That’s why they argue. But overall, Stew and Fallen just never had the synergy this whole year already, so it was no strange at all

No matter what, I really felt bad for fallen. Yes it was an honest mistake. There had been mistakes way worse than this. There's the 1g that caused a whole team to lose plus more. Stewie2k should've saved it instead of causing so much tension between the two. I feel like that tension screwed with both of how they play and the other teammates and caused them to lose. How stew fist pumped fallen I was just heart broken. Fallen is a loving person and so is stew. But fallen didn't deserve the crap he got from stew

Fallen made a mistake, but this gives Stewie no room to be toxic that way. "Oh, but in competitive they should be mentally strong"... Duuude, do you think it's coincidence that S1mple started to win everything just after he became a better teammate? It affects almost everyone... The following round they won, Fallen played well and showed his fist to Stewie bump it, the boy simply ignores Fallen and let build a lot of tension between the team... He was so tilted with his own teammate because of a single round that he was absolutely awful the rest of the map... Then it obviously affects not only him, but the rest of the team as well.

That sums up liquid's chemistry in the team.

And Stewie wants to go on interviews and say Elige is the toxic one. Riiiiiight…

There was a round on inferno where Stew didn't clear a simple angle. It got him and Fallen with bomb killed. Didn't hear Stew apologizing...

In my experiences teams play better when there’s just kind of a silent acknowledgment of a mistake . Mistakes are apart of the game there’s no changing that. If the team is confident that in the end that the good stuff will outweigh the bad then they have a better shot. Arguing over plays that already happened in a game can disrupt a teams flow.

something very similar happened a while back when FalleN was already at Imperial, but unlike stew, FalleN had an IGL stance and just kept communicating normal so as not to tilt his teammate

I feel bad for Fallen, but in Stewies case, he had every reason to be tilted due to that play I mean who wouldn’t get tilted after hitting 3 DE shots then losing that eco. But it was also Stewies fault bc he got tilted, he should’ve rubbed off that play and forgive fallen bc mistakes happen.

Fallen was talking about situations like this the other day on twitch (before this match). He was talking about how difficult it is for the rest of the team to accept situations where they need to be the bait on liquid. He was praising TACO and godsent because he saw how easy such scenarios were for them, cause they have a lot of fraternity on that team… He actually used a pistol round on vertigo against G2 as an exemple, where this time is Stew who refuses to be the bait for him and both of them end up dead and the round is lost. If u paid attention to the games this team played together you noticed that fallen repeatedly served as bait on liquid, especially on retakes while being the only awp in play. Those of you commenting how selfish he was or whatever, u don’t seem to have watched the same games I have, and u definitely don’t know a thing about Fallen’s way to play cs.

Idk man, sometimes Stewie's way works sometimes Fallen's way works, in this case Stewie's way would've been the best case. It's funny because Fallen usually got the timing right during their matches here at Blast, even on that series. But I guess Elec was really quick on his push, and Fallen expected Grim to be the anchor from long to hold them, and eventually let NAF back stab Navi, but instead Grim was also waiting the peek, and Stewie expected Fallen to distract Elec first, then he go for the kill, only then NAF would have a clean shot on Perfecto.

it's tough to play with someone you have no synergy with. especially 2on2, you have to know how your team mate approaches the game and try to add to it.

I feel like this is more of a communication problem which plague this Liquid lineup. Even though it might have been Fallen’s fault, Stewie should have communicated how he wanted the playe during the round instead of lashing out at the end of the round like that. A lot of Liquid downfall are through plays like this where players just assumed things and never really communicated with each other

Keep in mind we don't get to hear the comms over the entire game. We don't get to hear how much they've been tilting up until this point (which they had been). Liquid clearly wanted to win this one and believed they could've taken the tournament before they split up. Let's not shit on such a hardworking and experienced player such as stew for going "Why u hiding dude?" Stew has been holding Fallen up this entire tournament. There's something to be said about not tilting your teammates but again we can't hear their comms throughout the entire game. We don't shit on s1mple whenever he yells at his teammates after a bad round. Best of luck to all the players and thanks for putting on such a great show for us

I think electronic would still clear ramp if fallen peeked a bit earlier, so the result would be the same as the double peek. Its a decision in the moment, no reason for stew to tilt during the game.
