Thank you for the video! Have you ever used the 4000 PRO on a non-concrete surface ... with some other kind of platform underneath.

I wish I could find something light weight and small like the 3800 but with a lower starting height like the 4000. Also cannot be the cable type.

i feel you bro the st132 are POC... they are so hard to crank..only use them several times. I would use my odyssey. but those cant hold 9 elation extremes, 39ft of Ibeam truss, 39 ft of 12 AWG power cord and a 19incj disco ball...

Hey brother- will that round center post fit most speakers that are heavier? Or is it just made for a truss system?

Do you think the DT-3800s would be good for a 16ft Span of F23 truss with about 150lbs of lights on it? I'm not sure whether to get the 3800, or upgrade to the 3900s.

What's the wt cap on the 4000?

I don't like the 4000. To get the max height you need to raise that addition pole. If you have a truss and lights on it already to heavy to manually to lift that. If you raise the pole ahead of time then you need a ladder to put the truss on. Why can't they just have additional sections that operate through the crank. I'm not a big guy impossible for me to use the 4000. I thank you for the video. Very informative.

That's my concern as well. We do some outdoor shows with the band on flatbed semi trailers that aren't wide enough for the light stands. I need the height, but not sure how it'll work with the ploes fully extended. Do love the idea of these Duratruss stands though.

So, in order to get 13 feet, you have to start with it so high that you cant rig it. Great.
