These are better than the programmes themselves, but that's because you're getting two comedy geniuses for the price of one :-)

I think you guys are right this is far more cleaverly constructed wit. But i think thats because if your a long term supporter you have heard some of the stand up on 41st best stand up ever. Anyway cant wait for next week "The difficulty of joking about peoples faiths"

He's definitely a thinking comedian's crumpet. Come on, though. To say that this series doesn't warrant a place on BBC scheduling is a bit of a ridiculous comment to make. There's far worse shows getting a 2nd, 3rd and 4th series'. Stick with it, and I reckon you'll really grow to enjoy this outing.

Liked up to insects and Attenborough then it lost pace :- ( Again though, Armando is great and should be onscreen more.

I just noticed Stew, that everything I’d previously accepted about your claim to be above writing normal jokes, may actually be wrong! I just watched the old clips of you doing shorter bits when you were younger and telling normal jokes and they’re not impressive! I must now wonder where is the evidence of you mastering conventional jokes before the point at which you decided you can feel justified in believing that it’s below you? Is it a bluff? Is it just your character that’s bluffing? Or are one or both of you being honest? I’m confused.

I think these and Stewarts Lee's show are largely poor. Stewart Lee is not as funny as he is hyped to be. Iannucci is incredible in mostly everything, maybe i'm just more in tune with Iannucci's "funny language" than Lee's, so sue me.

Being a "cerebral" comedian has nothing to do with it, I love Stanhope for example and can listen to him talk all day as he's my kind of person, Stewarts smarmy attitude turns me off, It has nothing to do with not getting his material, I get all of his jokes (and while he has made me laugh a handful of times) I just don't like the man and don't think he's all that funny. It really irks me that most Stewart defenders think that if you don't laugh you're too stupid, how arrogant.

Well I was linked to the page by a friend, trust me I don't make a hobby of this. I hope there was no insinuation in your last comment that I enjoy McIntyre because I don't like Lee, I hate those polar comparisons and nothing could be further from the truth. McIntyre is real gutter level awful, Lee is mediocre with a horribly pretentious personality.
