No. Me neither.

I only had 2 magazines and no adapter for moderator! Bought it brand new too. Had a little tool kit with it though. Great rifle, HW100s are great, these different world 💪💪

@@furiousframe I had 2 mags with brand new self indexing hunting 5, little tool kit fill adapter and a decent hard plastic case, however no moderator adapter! Been on to Redbeck shooting supplies and getting nowhere with them, that asked me which model I have and said they would sort it out, heard nothing in weeks, I'm giving up on them, they have moderator adapter on best fittings catalogue for 20quid.

@@24745037 The Scout is 3 mags no adapter & the longer carbine? is 2 mags with the adapter. So you are either missing a mag or adapter depending on which model you have. The shop should sort it out either way. I have heard Best fittings adapter is "Better" than the Steyr? in what way i am not sure as the Steyr is good.

@@kevinparker461 yeah I telephoned Redbeck shooting supplies regarding the missing moderator adapter, they said they would look for it? Hmm few emails and heard nothing! Over 2 grand and pretty crap response I guess, however the gun is magnificent, 2 stick mags longer barrel option.

I think the s400 performs much better I didn't think those groups were particularly good, my s400 will eat that thing and it's 1/4 of the price........

@@southwestshooters No matter what anyone says, you have to own one to realise how good they are, I appreciate your grouping could have been better but you don't handle it apart from the short time you had it, you would definitely shoot that amazingly better given more time, I shoot 2mm bench at 25 yards. Yeah I miss sometimes 🤣, that's me and definitely not the Steyr. I would not swap mine for a dozen other brands. Again biased I guess. Great video and really enjoy your reviews. Your opinion on the Kral puncher I second, my mate has one and it's fantastic. Cheers 👍

Use a pellet seater from eBay to just seat the pellet skirts below the hole, they will never fall out! Also improves accuracy

@@furiousframe I use a pencil to push in the pellets, blunted point is perfect to seat the pellets, thanks for advice 👍👍

@@southwestshooters When I was looking at an new airgun I saw how many bad reviews they was getting on forums but I got the impact because its a style of airgun I really like. I wouldn't know what to get next if I did get rid of it. I was looking at the Red Wolf but with all the electronic stuff inside it makes me worry about the weight of the rife. I tried the Delta wolf when I was on the range and that felt too heavy on the back end of it. I might have to take a look at the Steyer rifles if it breaks again even if it can be repaired because this video shows how good the rifle is out to 50M and I try not to shoot much further than that.

They are QYS pellets! I should have written the information on the card in the video. I think they are 9.56 gr.

@@southwestshooters Chris , semi auto is illegal in England FAC or Sub12 ... This is self indexing , it's fired out of the magazine ( the pellets ) and NOT loaded in the breach each shot , the tolerance's involved in maufacturing the loading system are incredible . I recon the " loophole " MAY be addressed by the government ..

​@@markhomer3790 to be fair in the UK the law only uses the term self-loading; Section 57 FA Act 1968: In this Act “self-loading” ... in relation to any weapon means that it is designed or adapted (otherwise than as mentioned in section 5(1)(a)) so that it is automatically re-loaded ". Loaded - there is a pellet ready to go at the touch of a trigger. I can't find any case law defining 'loaded' in a quick search, but English law usually falls back on common sense definitions, and this in my opinion is a self-loading air rifle, and should be subject to Section 5 FA Act 1968. Referring to it as self-indexing is shall we say, hiding behind words, but having read about how the HO and the shooting community had a bit of a panic when the rifle was made ready for sale, I can understand how this bit of sophistry was a quick way round Section 5 of the FA Act 1968. How many Umarex CO2 pistols for instance are in fact self-loaders? In reality a couple of words added to subsection (ab) of Section 5 to mimic subsection (ac) "which is not an air weapon" would be a better solution, putting such weapons in there with the .22 LR self-loaders. I don't think there's a loop hole here waiting to be plugged, as long as .22 rimfire selfloaders are still available.

Possibly, but you'd have a 50 percent chance of something going wrong with the poorly made FX. This is a superior gun in every respect, including accuracy, in my experience anyway.

You have to own one and get the feel of it, these are something else. You obviously own FX therefore biased a bit which is only human. I have over 30 rifles and they all have outstanding accuracy, all HWs Air Arms and Steyr, had a zbroia today, outstanding! Yet to get FX.

I’ve owned the impact mk1, mk2 they felt like a box of knives to carry around, my mates cocking nipple snapped in half when we were out in the sticks on his impact, that was the end of his shooting, while I carried on with my H5 lolll

@@furiousframe few of my mates have FX, ones just gone back, after 40yards it's like a blunderbuss, I'm hitting spinners at 65 yards rested with HW97 177. I don't shoot animals and would never attempt it or suggest anyone should try at this distance. Lying I shoot rats out the garden, I have bird feeders everywhere. They are less than 20 yards away normally.

FX did do a semi auto. It was very complicated. So the Steyr method is better in my opinion and the gun is so easy to make safe with taking the magazine out.
