I had no problem using USB to copy the game. Just make sure the USB device setting in Vita Shell is selected to Game Card, and then click the Restart Vita Shell option. Hope you do not take this as a criticism on your video, sthetix.

Different issue, copying the dumped games back to the device it was dumped from works, but doing the same to a different device and refreshing the live area in vita shell always give the "0 items refreshed" and the icon for the game never appears. It's definitely in the UX0:App folder. Anyone have any ideas?

Thanks mate. I have noticed that on some of my games, I've had to remove the save file, or the front screen tile on the 2nd console if I had previously used the game cart in it. So, to clarify.... If my PS1000 already had been playing a game via the cart, and I now have a SD2Vita adaptor installed and working, then I use my PS2000 console to rip the same game and apply the drm patch as you describe. When I copy it to the SD card on my PS1000 and refresh, then launch it can give an error. Deleting the save game fixed that game. Strange, but hey.

im getting stuck at that part when I am about to put in my game card to dump in and use Vitashell, it always gives me an error message and by taking out the SD2PSV card it won't let me go in despite doing everything on this video , I need help!!!!!

Hello. Is there a safe and stable way to hack the PS Vita now? I mean, no crash, corruption of memory/game cards, no "blue screen of death" (or the equivalent for a PS Vita) and allow us to play ISOs of PS1, PSP and Vita games without problems?

Can someone please help I am able to use sd cards in the game slot for my vita 1000 but now it reads none of my physical games and I don't want to dump them what do I do?

I am using a modded PSVITA 1000 and have the following problem: Since sd2vita 'replaces' the internal memory (which the PSV1000 does not have, just the Sony Memory Card), removing the sd2vita adapter and replacing it with a game card results in an error - the game cannot be installed because of missing memory. How do I map the Sony Memory Card Slot as internal memory without losing sd2vita?

Is there a way to delete the game from it's host cartridge? I'm asking because I'm in this scenario where I bought MGS HD Collection in Japan, but I realized that it's almost completely in Japanese so I understand what's happening in the game. It'll take about a month for my PSV SD Adapter to come in, and I don't have an official PSV Memory Card. I tried deleting the game off it's game cartridge, but I received a message saying I didn't have authority to. Once I fixed that, I got another message saying I cannot delete it since it's apparently being used. Is there a way I can bypass that, so I can clear the space on the Game Cartridge and install the US version in it's place?

I dump mine just using usb mode, it was faster than ftp mode.

Unfortunately I don't have 2 Vita's to play with. Maybe try making a video showing how to do this with only one Vita? As an added bonus, why not make sure to include how to insert a game card into a slot that is already occupied by an SD2VITA card? I guess I'll look for a guide on how to move the main memory back to the Sony memory card so that I can use the game card slot and still use VitaShell.

Hello , since the ps vita game card is practically a memory card ( if you open one you will see that it is even manufacturerd by SanDisk) do you think that some day we could erase the data and put another game inside - for example take a FIFA cartridge , erase the data and put Attack on titan ? Or do you think empty pirate cartridges will be a thing so that we can put our favourite download only ps vita games ?

is there a way to do this on a psvita that already uses SD2vita? I dont know how to safely remove SD2vita so i can put in the physical game card for this process. When loading up my ps vita without SD2vita most of my apps like vita shell or h encore get removed.
