I really like the ideas! They seemed simple enough and looked great! They provided a base in which to decorate. Some ideas I would copy and others I would've went in a different direction. That's what excited me..

You don't need a pole that size. A large pointed skewer, the 2-3 foot ones at Dollar Tree, work and you don't have to do so much alteration as they are thin enough to fit in the existing holes.
