I like the 3x1 variation. We have a couple other options out of 3x1 we like too. If the back is to Trips the H runs a seam, the Y runs the stick, the rb still runs the shoot and the Z still has the MOR. If the back is away we have the H run the shoot and the Y runs the stick. The RB can stay in for protection or check check release.

I don’t like the shoot or out from 3x1 from by #2 because it moves away to fast for a HS arm

Have you thought about a stick and go (pump) if the safety is jumping the stick and the LB overplays the shoot?

Yes we have played with it but have settled on a quick skinny 5 step bang behind it by #1 to answer that problem

5:36 have you ever tried or thought about double sticks from 3x1 or bubbling the number 3 receiver in trips? Curious to your thoughts?

Yes to all of the above. I like this one the best but have tried all of those.

Is it ok to just run a vertical release hitch instead of coming off the LOS at the angle on the stick so my kids can do less?

Yes absolutely

@@CoachJoeSalas I am running a 7v7 team... Appreciate the help. Was sort of pressed for time to put a workable product on the field. I didnt even teach the mesh guys in 92 to sit down vs zone. The slants in slant/shoot dont sit down either and I read one side. However I do have the Spot keep running vs Man on Y-Corner

@@CoachJoeSalas I teach my QB in 7v7 if someone blitzes throw a bullet at their face and break their nose

@@CoachJoeSalas went 0-4 in 7v7 yesterday. I dont remember the defenses guarding the crosser in Y Cross a single time. Really not sure what my QB is looking at. Wild

So did you get rid of the check to swing for your Rab on your stick concept then?
