Honestly, STYG are one of the few bands along with The Ghost Inside that can totally pull me out of the trenches. It's like there is this inner-pride and self-appreciation that immediately transpires whenever I listen to their lyrics and music that I just can't seem to find in my day to day motions. Love these guys!

Sometimes the comments I read on videos like these are unbelievable. I never get mad, upset, or even frustrated when I read other people's ridiculous responses. In truth, it's more of both amazement and disappointment. I'm dumbfounded at how some people find the gall to belittle others, or worse, they try to act like they know what the hell they're talking about while in the process of belittling others. To the people who feel like they found that rare sense of relation within the underground scene of heavy music (I hope that's general enough), good, stay true and bright. Stay excited about the music, get nerdy with it even. Stay close to the good friends you make in the scene, you might not find more people that like. Who enjoy weird music like you and the unusual ritual of punch dancing within a ring of people at a live show. I know that's the only outlet some of you may have. And to the dudes with the unusual high sense of entitlement to "hardcore", must I really ask? I don't have a bone to pick with you, but sometimes all I can seriously muster up to ask in my head is, really? Maybe the kid next door didn't invite you to his birthday party when you were in grade school so now you feel the need to make everything you're a part of exclusive? Maybe something a bit more traumatic? I don't know. Whatever it is, if that's you, why keep that cycle going? You're being that same dick who left you uninvited. You remember what it felt like. Even though it was small, you know how fast it can grow. You know better than most that when you can't find acceptance or even just something you enjoy that includes a small community it's a shitty feeling. Now imagine having to deal with people who keep trying to push that unique place further away from you, making it harder to be apart of. What're you doing? If someone (God forbid) misnames the genre of a band, will it hurt to shed some mercy or not give a damn? Because not only do you come across as a superior ass, but you're nipping people out of the multi-colored cloth that is the underground scene of heavy music (still general). For the people who don't give a shit period, only care about themselves, and will say and do whatever the hell they want while not considering how it will affect others, I feel like there's not much I can say to you quite honestly. I guess I can say good luck trying to get by living like that? Sincerely. You'll see everyone slowly stop wanting to hang out with you or not want to be around you. But what do you care? You just hate everyone and love yourself. At least you'll have your precious perception of "hardcore". And lastly, for you trolls, have fun with this comment. I know there's no stopping you.

I've been listening to these guys since forever. My Brother got diabetes this year. He listens to this band now. This means everything this year to him. This is a big deal to me. I couldn't ask for more in life.

Man, seeing TGI sing these words means so much more now. I flew out to LA for their one-time show, and listening to both of these great bands share about their friendship was so fucking cool. I love these guys, don't ever stop playing

i saw them on that tour too, in London Ontario. I didn't even stay for any of the other bands I went just for STYG and it was the best show I have ever been too.

Still a favorite album of mine and it’s 2022.

Their first album is one of my all time favorites, but I can't stand anything they've done since. Power to them though, they're doing well, and me not liking their new stuff doesn't diminish how much I love 'For What It's Worth'

The Ghost Inside & Motionless In White! Hell yeah!

They are not TE-212's because if you notice in the video, their bridge pickups are hum buckers (they either look like EMG's or SD Blackout) and the TE-212 has a single-coil bridge pickup. Plus the TE-212 does not have a white and black option. Only black or candy apple red.
