Bob and Eddie are back for a mid-summer Stickball report as the transfer portal is paying off for Patty Gasso with two new additions so far. Baseball has a possible conundrum on their hands as Skip Johnson's name is coming up for the brand new Texas opening. If Texas doesn't get Texas A&M's Jim Schlossnagle, Johnson could become their next target.

This has become a damn good team with or without Canady. But they do need that one ace to make a run, and not sure we can count on a freshman for that.

Not sure we want or need Canaday. As I recall, you think she’s going to Texas which is even more unlikely. Texas has a full roster of pitchers already. Plus, White’s reputation has really taken a hit. She’s already played for one coach that doesn’t know how to win.
