Im a track car guy, so if someone can explain, why do they do the glue all the way down the track? If they only put down the glue for the first little bit then they would get higher speed without the drag of the glue right?

It's called PJ1, it's a sticky substance to help the tires not slip so you can get all of your torque applied almost instantly
