Probably the most entertaining drum 'battle' I've ever seen, and as an old drummer I've seen a lot. Thanks Sticky and Garry (and Pat for uploading) - this deserves way more views!

The best part of my evenings are spent watching jazz drum videos

I have always loved the drums, but did not do anything about it until now and have just started taking lessons at 51.. This isn't usually the style of music I listen to but stumbled across some videos of Sticky. I can't get enough of this guy. Amazing drummer, always smiling and having the best time of his life. I have watched plenty of great drummers on youtube, but not sure if I have seen anyone else express so much joy in playing. Keep it up Sticky

Very fun! Drum battles are the most fun when they are in good spirits, and swing is a great style to work in. I enjoyed this more than watching Buddy Rich, as you can tell these two are friends, and it's not a serious competition.

Phenomenal watching these 2 together. Reminds me of the "good old days" of drumming. So neat to watch how even their sticking is together and coordinated. Great video.

Great to see my old drum teacher Garry allcock drumming away. Gary taught me how to read music.. This led me to composing music and gaining a place at Birmingham conservatoire to study composition for 4 years with the great Indian composer John Mayer who pioneered and created indo jazz fusion music.. Garry's drumming is so old school and melodic which I love... Garry allcock inspired me so much..

These guys are fantastic. What a great exhibition of skill, showmanship, and class.

It's kind of in the tradition of the late great Freddie Crump, who makes me smile whenever I see one of his old videos.
