Very nice! Low trajectory on the blocks but not much back spin (did you try this anti on your regular blade?). How did you manage no spin balls? BTW your opponent has a tremendous wrist, great feeling!
@AndreaAschi2 жыл бұрын
Hi Joachim, happy to hear from you again! As you noticed spinreversal is not the best (my carbonado setup has way better reversal) but the control and the ability to make blocks close to the net is interesting!! I will soon try an harder sponge 😉 Fast no spin balls are difficult to control with a blade with a such low throw. At the beginning i did a lot of mistakes. Then I started to have a bit of regularity holding the racket perpendicular to the table with 0 wrist motion and elbow down. (Like the block at 3:58, is a different block movement i'm experimenting). Need more training hours! 😁 bye

so you left the Neubauer? Could tell me why ? I find the ABS2 interesting but it would ask me a lot of work to replace the long pimple OX and it is also heavier.
@AndreaAschi2 жыл бұрын
I chose vortex because I wanted to try a different antispin on the new blade...but my official setup remains the one with ABS. The choice between anti and OX LP depends on the style you would like to have...anti it's more a passive rubber. With LP you have better attacking possibilities (in my opinion)
@Diabolosyl2 жыл бұрын
@@AndreaAschi Thanks, looking at your videos, I think we have almost the same style of game. I return with the backhand, block or defend depending on the speed of the opponent and I attack with the backhand on pushed balls as with the LP you can't do a lot of other things against this. But Lp are not annoying as before and are less regular too.

@AndreaAschi2 жыл бұрын
Ciao Victor!

I am a chopper. I use Victas Koji offensive with P1 (0.5mm). Do you think cybershape is too stiff to chop with?
@AndreaAschi2 жыл бұрын
Hi Benny! I tried the stiga cybershape with a TSP curl p-h (1.5mm) doing defense away from the table. Initially I had a little difficulty, then by adjusting the movement I was able to chop with decent regularity and a lot of backspin. The frame itself is pretty stiff so it's not ideal for that kind of playstyle but if you have a good sensibility you can definitely try it for a modern defense style. 😉

WOW! just wow. I want this blade haha is Vortex 2 really slow sponge? The blocks looked super good with the returns
@AndreaAschi2 жыл бұрын
Hi Nick!! The speed depends on the sponge. The red one is very slow!! (even if is thin) Super useful for short blocks as in the video. I will try vortex 2 topsheet with a faster/harder sponge because i'm looking for better spinreversal.

Can you hit the top spin with anti spin rubbers?? I know anti spin rubbers are good for blocking But can you hit top spin with anti spin
@AndreaAschi23 күн бұрын
It is possible to perform a movement similar to a topspin. With anti, however, not having a surface with friction, you cannot generate spin.

I was waiting for this video :) The vortex 2 locks very nice on it How was it with the red sponge in 1.7mm? And how was the anti on the cybershape in general? It looks very slow and the ball drops close to the net
@AndreaAschi2 жыл бұрын
I hope the video did not disappoint your expectations! 😉 The red sponge in this case is good because cybershape is fast and with a low throw, so you need a very dampening sponge to be able to do slow blocks close to the net. The downside is spinreversal...weaker than my original setup (ABS/pink sponge). I think anti on this blade is definetly playable, but for beginners there are safer and cheaper blades to use with anti. I was interested in trying cybershape also for the forehand side. (Anti is not the only reason why i win matches😉) I need more training for fully undestand if this combo is better than my Carbonado one. 👍

Grazie
@AndreaAschi2 жыл бұрын
Buonasera Mario!
