I live in Oregon and I have four of these saws. We order them here as a "West coast package" which comes with a double set of larger dawgs that are factory from Stihl. Your Stihl dealer should be able to help you out with that.

24 inch and it works great. I have seen people use up to a 36 inch bar as well

You have no clue, there is no need to touch the choke at all on this saw

Yup the manual states to put the selector in the triangle position every time the saw is started. Lots of hate in these comments

Blade......he really just said blade. Blades have sharpened edges. The chain is too tight as well. Also, they are not "dogs" or "dawgs". THEY ARE "BUMPER SPIKES" !

Oh keeper of the words and proper names. I am sorry I have offended thee..... BTW in the manual and the forestry parts manual they are called dogs. Don't fall on your face when you get off your high horse.

@@lukedaoutdoorguy7639 Not really a horse person. Let's call it a high Jeep or something cool lol You didn't offend me. I made a joke about the blade, but you're using a Stihl saw, and Stihl calls them Bumper Spikes. As far as the forestry manual, some things with gun parts still list magazines as clips. Even though everyone should know clips are items used to load magazines. I was just trying to help you on down the road. Don't always read something as negative, sometimes people mean well.
