Both saws are fantastic . My favourite 70 cc saw is the 572. A person couldn’t lose with either power saw. Great video Thanks for posting

I chose the 572xp because it's smoother when cutting than the MS462. Additionally, the Husky kill switch/choke is more intuitive than the Stihl, the primer bulb is great when you run the gas tank dry, the handles are better for large hands and the Husky balances with a long bar better than the Stihl. I also like the much cheaper price of the Husky ($400 less ) and longer warranty (5yr vs 2yr). The Stihl is lighter and has a more responsive throttle trigger, but that's about it.

I own both of these saws and use them for doing tree work Monday-Friday. They both are great but I prefer the 572 for how smooth it is.

I just got the stihl 462 and its a beast! The only drawback I have is the tiny felling spikes that come on it, I had to pay another 40 dollars to get the bigger dual set of felling spikes.

The Stihl is lighter, looks better, cuts faster and outsells the other 4:1. The best modern Stihl power saw imo.
