Gary was the most soulful guitarist imo, and I can perfectly argue that. Andy Timmons cames close, but Gary was a master on soulful playing (nuances, note choice, bend and vibrato control, playing fast, facial expressions and even much more resources used in an intelligent way). I wholeheartedly agree that he was the only guitarist to make a guitar cry and scream of pain. There will never be another Gary.

This is very true , Gary makes his guitar cry if he wants it to or scream if he so desire, Gary has got a very colorful interpretation of music and he becomes one with his guitar; he was a master that ever lived. RIP Gary

Hermano, sos uno de los mejores guitarristas que conozco. Es increíble cómo te adaptás al feeling de los solos, va más allá de "imitar", entendés la expresión del guitarrista original y sos capaz de transmitirlo vos... Estuve mirando covers de esta canción porque quería aprenderla, ninguno me sonaba del todo bien, hasta que vi el tuyo y dije "AHORA SÍ" antes de siquiera poner el vídeo, y no me decepcionaste, mis respetos, te repito que sos un guitarrista increíble...
