Yep those apps can be used! It's safe to say most of the popular apps are supported.

WhatsApp is supported, I didn’t try messenger during my testing period. But I believe it should be fully supported.

No pictures, I only had the device for a month for testing then I had to return it.

it just succks that it still has no "wireless" charging ... im still an iphone fan to answer your question below. LOL

Even I don’t use wireless charging on my iPhone. It’s slow and makes the device hot! Which ultimately hurts the battery haha.
