The fact that this game will be 14 years old next week, and no other game has come close to how fun and easy to pick up the multiplayer is amazing. I can just go back to this game whenever I want and just have fun.

@@acszu8970 I play FH5 as well. I enjoy both games. Yes, I get nostalgia from Burnout Paradise as well but I already loved the game back when it was new and that hasn't changed since. So my opinion isn't biased.

The Burnout series was truly unique. You didn't need to take it seriously and you could have some serious fun. The sad part is this is what Criterion has just re-skinned for the past 12 years

11:19 There is an exact same location like this in MW2012. It's the 918 spyder concept most wanted race ending. EA literally copy pasted some map areas from burnout paradise.

Criterion did, they made both games and so many things are copy and paste, the paint/repair shop. The fact you gotta crash out the “boss” to get their car. The yellow gates. The lack of customization, the brake to drift. Not to mention the crash cams.

Burnout Paradise is truly an amazing game, I'm close to 1.000 hours of playtime and still not bored yet! I really hope this game and especially the community of it will stay active for many more years!

Same, 102% completion, 350hrs on PS3. 100% completion, 29hrs on PS4 Game is too addictive man

They need to bring this game back, new beginnings and etc, but without losing the essence that Paradise has, because this game is amazing 💯🔥

Can't believe I can still recognize Burnout Paradise just the mere moment I see the UI. Even if I haven't played the game since its release. That said, I will enjoy going through memory lane by watching you play it, Theo.

This Theoretically is My Second Favorite Burnout, second only to Revenge, to be more honest I only played these two from the Franchise.

I hardly get into any lobbies with more than 2 people these days on PC. In it’s prime though this game was one of the best racing games I played online.

My favorite car in Burnout Paradise is the Carson GT Carbon, I really like the Carson GT and how balanced it is, the Carbon is the second best version after the “Night hawk” but is much more classy in my opinion.

Tell me why I just realized nfs Mw 2012 is basically nfs+this game. Because literally so many things if this game is in nfs 2012 from the yellow gates, to the repair/paint shop. To the having to crash the Blacklist member to unlock their car. From the brake to drift. And I also just realized Criterion made both games.

So sad they shut down the Playstation 3 servers for Burnout Paradise before I obtained the P12 Diamond (awarded for completing all 500 online challenges). I also own this game on Xbox 360, PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Switch but the PS3 version was the only place where I had 95% of the challenges done.

This game seems like it did best in Europe. Out of everyone I've spoken to about the Burnout series, I don't think one of them have ever mentioned this as their favorite or most played out of the franchise unless they were young. I never even really played it, neither did my cousins who had the other games. Was just kind of weird, the atmosphere wasn't for everyone and neither were the new mechanics. EDIT: I own the game and was aware of it when it launched, still don't really like it personally.

Tip, honestly Burnout + Open world doesn't match quite well, its better to race in a closed circuit, you're focused only on racing and battling, so the best nominee is Burnout 3 Takedown or Burnout Revenge.
