I would think so too. Cause in the episode “A Yard Too Far” Stimpy tricks Ren into getting mauled by an ape by saying, “There is no dog… but there is a *baboon!”* With a shit eating grin on his face.

Was always disappointed how that little aspect of Stimpy had faded away during the later seasons. Where his incredible stupidity either got worse or he became more of a regular guy with some eccentricity; Ren of course as a incredible sociopath as ever.

I can remember sitting around passing the two foot Graphix bong with my buddies and watching this. Ren & Stimpy while stoned is an adventure all by itself. Acid is much, much worse. Once we all did some blotter acid and the episode with Ren's teeth falling out and pulling the rotting roots out...we almost didn't make it. Freaky shit, man.
