I've never met jimmy, but I was the cheif engineer and studio manager at sams studio back in the nineties quite a few years after crocodile shoes came out which can be seen on crocodile shoes, I also worked with lauren laverne there on kenekie stuff, lauren was such a pleasure to work with, down to earth and such a lovely woman. Happy days. I loved newcastle and met a lot of great musicians who became life long freinds, jordie's are top notch people.

Just seen this recording of the lads, never met Gordon...but his brother Phil was wor milkman. And Jimmy Nail ( Bradford ) was me neighbour but 2, I was a lot younger than hims.
