When my wife left me in 2001 without warning in 2001, devastation doesn’t begin to describe that time. 19 years later, two children that I would die for, a wife that has stood by me, I often wonder if pain is nothing more than a door we walk through to a better place in time. Grateful.

Life has taught me much. Strength, humility, vulnerability and fragility. As I gaze into my young daughters eyes I see purity and honesty. A blank canvas yearning to learn of life’s Beauty. I wish for nothing more than a safe and prosperous passage through life. If she reads this one day, “Dad loves you with all my heart”.

I agree. he was scheduled to play a performance in Italy on the night of Sept.11/2001 when the news from New York reached him. The band decided, collectively, to go ahead and perform and the performance was taped. This song was the first song they played and was eerily resonant with the days events....

If blood will flow when flesh and steel are one Drying in the colour of the evening Sun Tomorrow's rain will wash the stains away Something in our hearts will always stay Perhaps this final act was meant To clinch a lifetime's argument Nothing comes from violence And nothing ever could For all those born beneath an angry star Let's we forget how fragile we are On and on the rain will fall Like tears from a star Like tears from a star On and on the rain will say How fragile we are How fragile we are If blood will flow when flesh and steel are one Drying in the colour of the evening Sun Tomorrow's rain will wash the stains away Something in our hearts will always stay On and on the rain will fall Like tears from a star Like tears from a star On and on the rain will say How fragile we are How fragile we are
