The hinge that connects the lower body to the backpack needs so be horizontal to the figure in order for the torso tab to line up and make a proper connection. I had the issue aswell and that was my fix

I love this figure man, in a see of people dunking on it, I'm the lone ranger that protects it. It has its issues, but it's such a refreshing and fun Bumblebee, completely different to any deluxe movie Bees that have come out in years. And a great size too! I'm pretty proud that I was the first person in the world to review the figure, that never happens 😏

I really wish this design had gotten the SS budget, if it had better legs that maybe integrated more of the back of the car to reduce the backpack, tweaked tolerances and better paint matching it'd be easily the better one, the weapon integration is genious, just like the way it deals with the front wheels. Still, as it is, I see it as a mould with a lot of potential, the whole line makes me wanna learn how to paint, but that also means that they should be even cheaper.

I honestly absolutely love this Diet SS100. Thickening the tab for the chest with superglue makes him a lot more solid.

There’s a Revenge of the Fallen 2 pack from back in the day, had the first ROTF Deluxe Bee and Legends Grindor. Grindor was in a cool tan and orange color scheme but the relevant part to the video is Bumblebee had a green torso and green highlights on the vehicle- and mint green windows like ROTB Bee has. The paint mismatch on the doors (the only painted part of this plastic, the windshield and back window were separate pieces) was insane. That green destroys Bumblebee’s yellow matching

Definite pass for me as for the price Studio Series has this beat. Armada Hotshot also has the color match issue. And though it doesn't show as badly in person, through a camera you can really see the mismatch between the painted plastic, and molded plastic on the Leader Scourge. Still really a fan of that DOTM Bee.

I really wish they incorporated the wheel transformation into the SS mold. I feel like his wing/wheel transformation hasn’t changed since 2010 HFTD. I think the 07 deluxe mold still has the best door wing and front tire placement. It was the only version of Bee, that I remember, that had the wings fan out close to his spine.

I love the chunkiness of the car mode here. Beefier tires... he feels more off-roady compared to the Studio Series. But that paint mismatch. UGH. This would be a more stellar figure if they just ditched the translucent plastic.

This mold is actually really good, if u have the money and your willing to do it, just repaint it. Maybe do some customising like removing the back kibble and definitely fix the vehicle paint job. I plan on doing this on the copy I’m gonna get so wish me luck! (Also I can use blue tack to stick the tabs in so they won’t get lose)

Nah, you cant see the difference on the camera screen but it defintely shows up in the video...its really really bad! Glad I just got the Studio Series!

What with the Studio Series and Mainline ROTB figures coming out around the same time I'm torn as to which versions of certain characters to go for.... this at least makes my mind up for Deluxe Bumblebee, but what at Cheetor and Airazor?

try putting glue over the tab under the chest and wait for it to dry, it should thicken the tab

welp.. its the closest to the studio series bcuz there isnt even a studio series bumblebee ive only really saw the studio series airazor and cheetor which i didnt really want tbh, but despite the upper torso issue ill just kinda try to figure out a way to fix it (reply if u got any suggestions on how to fix the upper torso problem)

I agree with the front wheels looking better, but that’s… technically not accurate. I prefer that placement but compare that to your Yolopark and ThreeZero’s DLX and the wheel placement is the same as Studio Series, although there aren’t the blocks of yellow that SS has ofc I think you’re thinking of BB movie, where the wheels are above the folded down door wings.

Hey Toy Guy! What's been your favorite live-action mainline Bumblebee figure to date? I had the original 2007 mold but I could not for the life of me transform him from robot into car and flatten the hood as a kid, so I gave him away. I haven't been keeping up with Bumblebee figures since. I'd love to hear your opinion!
