Same here. My older brother and I toggled between WWF and WCW on Monday nights just to try to catch as much of both shows as we could, I loved Sting but I also loved Undertaker. My brother loved Stone Cold Steve Austin and Hulk Hogan. What a time it was for wrestling fans.

UNDER TAKER VS STING : DREAM MATCH NEVER HAPPENED
@arthurbernhardt6993 ай бұрын
It sorta did happen. The Undertaker was going by Mean Mark Callous. It was back in the 80s I believe. Either Smoky mountain or NWA.
@tgzaks79013 ай бұрын
It was the transition from the NWA to WCW when Mean Mark Callous was part of The Skyscrapers tag team that had Mean Mark Callous, Sid Vicious and Dangerous Dan Spivey back in 1989/1990. Sting vs Mean Mark Callous 1v1 never happened but they might have been involved in a tag match during a house show or two. In 1990, Sting was set to defeat Flair for the World Heavyweight Championship but suffered a knee injury during a cage match involving Ric Flair vs Lex Luger, remember the Robocop angle. By the time Sting came back from his injury and defeated Flair for the title, Mean Mark Callous had left and signed with Vince and became The Undertaker during The Survivor Series in November 1990.

I go way back with "STEVE BORDEN" before he became "STING" when he was Tag Team partners with "JIM HELLWIG (ULTIMATE WARRIOR)" (Now deceased) Down in MID-SOUTH WRESTLING (SHREVEPORT LA). They were known as "THE BLADE RUNNERS- ROCK/FLASH". But as usual: ALL GOOD THINGS DO COME TO AN END ONE DAY: UNFORTUNATELY. Wrestling will never be the same again. That's for sure. STEVE BORDEN (STING) ENJOY YOUR RETIREMENT BECAUSE YOU MORE THAN EARNED IT, AND YOU WILL BE SORELY MISSED.
