The beautiful tone of the hi-hat led the groove and it sounded very comfortable. I recently practiced a cover of this song and found it very difficult.

Thank you!!! Look into the Moeller Method to play fast 16th notes...it makes groove like this amazingly relaxed and easy.

Yes, I am playing the bass drum part on this song. Because it's such a soft song, I am playing with my foot flat on the pedal, as opposed to my usual method of playing with the heel up. That's why you don't see my knee moving. Thank you!!!

Thank you!! The hi-hats in this video are 13.5" Zildjian KZ. I bought them back in the 1990's when I was fixated on Dave Weckl. He was promoting these at the time.

A beginner might have some difficulty with this song because of the right-hand 16th notes. It's best to study and apply the Moeller Method technique, which makes grooves like this much easier to play. Just search for "Moeller Method" on KZfaq. A ton of video lessons will pop up. The other thing to concentrate on is solid, consistent feel, timing and dynamics. In short, it's harder that it appears (for a beginner).

Steve, a palabras necias, oídos sordos.... aunque si lo escuchas detenidamente, es verdad que el bombo no suena siempre. Fijate que en los silencios de la voz, o cuando dentro de la estrofa cambia el sentido de la frase, no le pega al bombo.- Siempre se puede mejorar! La técnica del hihat me gusta, ojala pudiera llevarlo así de parejo sin caer el tempo ni lesionarme (asumo que es cuestión de práctica).- Si es la primera vez que lo tocás, es una gran versión! Keep it going!!

As far as I can understand, Serkan Ayaz asked whether you have a recording of the drum track that you played, in the MP3 format. Just drums, without any other instruments.

Im just curious what the feet are doing..I see them moving but I don't see a kick or the hihat moving

My left foot (on the hi hat pedal) is moving because of a bad habit. I tend to bounce my left foot in tempo but I'm not moving the hi hat cymbals at all. It's kind of waste of energy. My right foot is hitting the kick drum on beats 1 & 3 throughout the song.
