The Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship programme was established by the Hungarian Government to promote the internationalisation of the Hungarian higher education and to attract top foreign students from all around the world.
This scholarship has become quite popular in Bangladesh. As a Bangladeshi studying here in Budapest, I am presenting the pros and cons of the Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship, that all of you should acknowledge before applying.

Hello apu. Thank you for giving us all the information . I want to know if I can apply for 2 subjects. For example- I want to study for being a pilot under the stipedium scholarship but if I don't get selected can I give exam for engineering field as it is my 2nd choice or I can do only one at a time ? আমি cse এর জন্য hungary scholarship এ কয়েকটা ইউনিভার্সিটি পেয়েছি।। যার মধ্যে pecs University তে oral xm নিবে। আরো কয়েকটা ইউনিভার্সিটি এর মধ্যে একটাতে দেখলাম কোনো এক্সাম নিবে কি না বলা নাই। বাকিগুলাতে হয় oral+ written বা শুধু written xm নেওয়া হবে।।। তো আমার চান্স পাওয়ার জন্য oral xm এর ইউনিভার্সিটি গুলাতে আপ্লিকেশন করলে ভালো হবে নাকি written/ no exam গুলা সিলেক্ট করব???? আর oral+written এক্সাম গুলা কিরকম হয়???

ইউনিভার্সিটি চয়েসের ক্ষেত্রে পরীক্ষা কিভাবে নিচ্ছে তার থেকে র্যাংকিং এর গুরুত্ব বেশি দেয়াটা বেটার। আর যদি সাব্জেক্ট সম্বন্ধে বেসিক ধারণা থাকে তাহলে দুটার কোনটাই খুব কঠিন হওয়ার কথা না। তবুও দুটার যে কোন একটা সিলেক্ট করতে হলে আপনি স্পোকেন কিংবা রিটেন যে বিষয়ে দক্ষ সেটাই সিলেক্ট করা উচিত।

It depends on your overall profile. IELTS score doesn’t assure you to be selected safely, but having a satisfactory score (6.5 to 7) increases your chance to get the scholarship.

If you are a SH scholarship holder, it would be enough within 2k euro. Otherwise for 1 year 5000 euro is enough.

Dear Mom,My daughter passed SSC with GPA 5 ( golden),her HSC exam did not held on schedule time due to corona,now this exam will be started from December 05,she is a student of commerce from ctg Cantonment college,her HSC result may publish within Feb 2022,hope she will get GPA 5/5, she appeared IELTS in April 2021,her IELTS score7'5 ( R-8'5 L-8 S-7 W-6'5), how we can apply before publishing HSC result, Please advise me

Did you submit all documents mentioned in Hungarian Embassy in India for residence permit for BD SH awardee? Can i sponsor myself? What type of document did you show for proof of family relationship in case sponsor is your family member? Did you apply for a new police clearance certificate for visa ?

Yes, you have to submit all the required documents to the Embassy for getting visa. Sure, you can be your own sponsor, if you can submit necessary bank documents and justification of your source of income. If your parents are your sponsor, then you will need to show their bank documents and bank certificate in favor of their account. And probably a copy of their (parents) passport. I applied with a new police clearance certificate because as far as I know this certificate is only valid for six months.

does the Hungarian language course extend your total study year? Or do they fit in classes within your previously established time frame? (I am an undergrad aspirant and I am worried if the course would be 5 years long due to language learning)

No the language course is designed to fit within. It won't take more than the time frame unless you fail/drop the language course

আপু আমার পাসপোর্ট এবং বিএসসি সার্টিফিকেট এর বাবার নামের বানানের সাথে এসএসসি এবং এইচএসসি এই দুইটা সার্টিফিকেট এর বানানের গরমিল আছে। সেক্ষেত্রে কি ভিসাতে সমস্যা হতে পারে? আমার কি এইগুলা নতুন করে কারেকশন এ দেয়া উচিত?

The Hungarian language course will be undertaken along with your other regular courses. Yes, you can't apply this session if you can not fulfill the eligibility.

What do you mean by extra scholarship? Stipendium Hungaricum covers your entire tuition fee + living expenses. I don't think you can change course after selection

Hi apu...May i ask you whether the air-ticket is given by the scholarship committee or candidate should manage by themself? And if you could tell the air-ticket price from BD to Hungary it would be helpful.

The scholarship authority won't pay for the air ticket in SH scholarship. I don't remember the exact amount I paid, but may be it was in between 70-80k (BDT). You have to book the flight earlier, to get a cheaper option. :) Thanks.

@@jinatara3392 it's better to show your own if you have a current bank account with sufficient money for more than three months. (Don't open an account Tomorrow and show money for a few days). It's better to show a genuine account if your parents have one. (3 lacs would be enough just to be on the safe side)

IELTS or Duo lingo die shuru korte paren. English medium e porte hole apni IELTS chara tough. So It's a must.

And could you please translate what you said about getting part time job. Is it possible in Budapest? Im planning to go for Msc Computer science, so any IT job or anything would do

It's almost impossible to live with 40000 huf. So not enough, if you have a healthy lifestyle. Getting part time job is very tough and you need to know their language. Don’t expect part time job without knowing hungarian first.
