A traditional poem about the blessed Mawlid of the Prophet (Peace and blessings be upon him).
For generations, many a mother has rocked her bundle of joy to
sleep with this poem in the hope of nurturing a devotee of the
Messenger of Allah (Peace and blessings be upon him).
This poem is widely known, but we have not been able to determine with any certainty who the author is. We ask Allah Almighty to reward the author many fold on our behalf for composing such a beautiful poem, ameen.
