I used to do cross country with no gridding - the mistakes were bountiful 🤣. Not sure what I'd do without my gridding now LOL (j/k there's some pieces I can't grid on because of color, but I definitely prefer the grids). A big reason I'm able to find where I need to go next so fast is I use other stitches as sort of anchor points and go by those instead of counting - which can be disastrous if there's a stitch in the wrong spot, so the speed sometimes has a hefty risk to it. I also make sure I don't pull my needle through on my fabric until I spot the next place I want to go, so I use it as a visual anchor as well. Good luck when you start a full coverage! They are my preferred projects by far! 💕

Haha, I understand about leaving those blocks! I don't like traveling more than 10 or sp spaces away from any last stitch cause I make mistakes so easily, but compensating for then when they happen is part of the process for me at this point 😂. Glad you enjoyed the video! 💕

Hi Stephanie! Sorry it took me so long to answer 🙈. I use a screen recorder and transfer that video onto my phone where I edit and splice the two videos together. It sounds a lot harder than it was to actually do lol

I think it's just my brain being a bit ocd and wanting everything to be all one length and loop on each card 🙃. I do admit I really like pulling from one set of floss, though! @@Ailarra918 The array of fabrics at Craft Gallery is fabulous. They have a stitchy place set up in the store and are open extra hours on Thursdays for people to sit and have a stitchy time with others
