Your last video was the first FlossTube video I ever watched. You certainly set a high standard of content. You started me down a great road of discovery in the world (and possibilities) of cross stitch samplers. It was fun to hear of your summer memories… My favorite childhood memory was visiting our local library. We lived in the desert (St George, Utah). Summer temperatures were always well over 100 degrees every single day. After lunch once a week we would make the 1 mile trek to “the Library”. I can still recall to cool air mingled with the smell of books and wood polish as we entered the building. Walking home with several Nancy Drew mysteries and the anticipation of reading was equally memorable…loved that tall glass of cool water on entering the haven if home! Thank You for another great FlossTube video! I have ordered many times from you since that last video. Your service is efficient and dependable! So glad that I found you that first day!!😊

A favorite childhood activity we did a lot in the summer was grab our big inner tubes walk or ride our bikes to the river, carefully holding the tubes with us and float down the river. Such a blast playing all day long. So much fun growing up in a tiny town. It was great to see a new flosstube from you, they are the best! I hope you get time to enjoy your summer and not be so busy. So many beautiful pieces of art. Thank you for your time!

My favorite summer memory…..hanging out at home playing with my brother and sister. My sister and I would pick these certain flowers and walk down the driveway throwing the petals as flower girls, skateboarding with my brother, hanging out on my grandparents porch trying for the first time my grandfather’s cigar with my brother, picking figs from the neighbor’s tree, picking avocados from my grandparents’ tree, lying on the living room floor at night watching tv with my siblings and my grandfather nearby. Just lots of small fun cherished memories.

You telling about trying to water ski brought back memories for me. My uncle had all the patience in the world to work with kids to teach them to ski. I could ski all over the lake squatting on the skis, but the minute I stood up I would fall in face forward. Like you, I wasn't sure when to let go. It was all very exhausting, no one had to tell me to go to bed after working hard to trying learn. Those are some of the best my childhood memories.

I appreciate you packing up all I want! So glad to see you back with a video too. I'm a native American from Arizona and although I'm not Navajo, I am familiar with their lives. Yes, they do live miles and miles away from the nearest town that may have a Joanne's or a Hobby Lobby. Many heat their homes with wood (it doesn't get North Dakota cold but it does snow here in northern Arizona) so quilts are a necessity. I admired you already for being vocal about your struggles with depression but even more so after offering a way to help donate fabric. Thank you Theresa!

Your finished samplers are beautiful. My favorite summer activity as a kid was jumping rope. All the neighbor kids would come over, we had a big rope, we each would take turns spining the rope and we would jump rope all day reciting all the little rhymes. Sometimes as an adult one of these rhymes will pop into my head. So good to see you again. Take care and happy stitching!

I was able to water ski as a teenager. My dad had a boat and we spent lots of time on the river. I grew up in a company town in PA and we had a community pool. One of my favorite memories was going to the pool every day, then stopping at my aunt’s house to play a board game with cousins. You are taking me down memory lane…..another memory is swimming across the river and back with my dad going along in the boat. I lover your videos, and ordering from your shop. You make me laugh. I love your authenticity and energy. There is nothing wrong with saying "no"; women try to take care of everything and forget to take care of themselves. My favorite summertime activity was rushing through supper and meeting all of my friends in the neighborhood to play kickball in the street. We lived on a deadend street and didn't have a lot of traffic. Of course, as soon as the bats started to come out, we would throw rocks up in the air and watch them dive bomb them. You have been missed and it was such a joy seeing you again.

It was so wonderful to see your video and to be able to listen to what is going on in your world. I too have set boundaries this year with myself and others, so being an extremely busy person as yourself I’m happy to hear that you are trying to take care of you! I’m an extremely busy person myself, so I get it. My favorite pastime as a child was to bike ride and we would take day trips to the beach and or go for drives in the country. I was always a country girl at heart so when we moved to the country the beginnings of my teenage years, I was a very happy girl, I then traded my bike for horses! I so enjoy seeing the samplers you showed us and the goodies in your shop. Thank you 😊❤️

Wow! The unsigned sampler that you purchased recently is extremely beautiful and I cannot wait until you reproduce it. The border is so dainty and beautiful. This is absolutely the most intricate and beautiful sampler I have EVER seen. I will be watching for this one to come up in your shop. It is a rare jewel. Kudos to you for finding it. I live in the south and it's Arnold Palmer if it has 1/2 tea and 1/2 lemonade. I have never measured my sugar in inches. I used to use 1 cup of sugar and 2 family size tea bags per 1/2 gallon and bring to a boil, then cool. Now, I do not use any sugar and a bit of lemon juice. Water exercise is great for pain relief and I am so glad it is giving you relief. My favorite memory is going to our family's cabin in the mountains every summer with my grandmother and my cousins. What great times we had!

I freaking love you so much. I laughed so hard during your water skiing story. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 I LOVED water skiing. I got so excited when you said, “Hit it! 👍🏻” I remember that so well! My husband had a boat when we were in college. We spent all day every day of weekends on the lake. I skied the full day. 🤣🤣🤣 In fact, young me would be skiing all summer, now that you mention it! But now, in retirement, I’m cross stitching my first grand baby’s Christmas stocking. I also watch him on the days that my daughter works as a nurse at the hospital. Thank you for publishing a video. My family would get together with other families and reserve a pavilion at Onekahaka park and have potluck and grilling. I got to spend the whole day at the beach, but is was more than swimming and building sand castles. We would also go tide pooling and fishing. I never understood why people would go the beach to sunbath.....I never did that and still won't. Way more interesting things to do.

I’m like you, I was the totally uncoordinated child that was a master of nothing. I have made sure everyone of my children could swim because no matter how many lessons I have taken over the years I sink to the bottom because I’m petrified of drowning and dying. My favorite memories are of going to my grandparents for two weeks every summer. We got our school clothes, we would go to the zoo, to the ocean and had a great two weeks every summer. Get some rest and I enjoyed our evening together.

Great to see you again! Loved the sampler with the outstanding border. The finished pieces were framed perfectly. I used to make "sun tea", gallon jar, 6-8 tea bags, set in outside for a few hours, lightly sweetened after brewing always with a cut wedge of lemon. Delish! So many childhood summer memories: outdoors most of day riding my bike, roller skating, making a hop scotch grid, going to library several times a week, limited to check out 5 books, so I'd read them the first day, go back next day for 5 more, Nancy Drew mysteries were faves. When we moved up the coast of CA I spent as much time at the beach as I could. Still miss the salt air & sound of waves, walking on the pier.

So glad to see this video. One of my favorite summer past times was toasting marshmallows on a bonfire - and making s’mores. About water skiing: it took me three summers and thirty three tries to get up on skies. Eventually I was able to cross the wake, but never tried one ski. Swimming is great exercise - without weight bearing. Your feeling that summer is over by the 4th of July has some basis in fact - bird migration starts in July!

I'm new to watching stitchy tube. I've been a stitcher since I was a little kid. I really enjoyed seeing your "buy it now" treasure, and I look forward to buying your chart of that...no pressure, but I can hardly wait! Okay, yes, pressure. Sorry. I probably violated one of your boundaries. 🙄 I learned stitching in 4-H, which was what consumed my summers as a kid. When I wasn't stitching, my other favorite summertime activity was riding my pony. I envisioned myself being like Roy Roger's and Dale Evans, riding and singing.

It was so lovely to see you back. I enjoyed hearing all of your news and seeing so many beautiful samplers. Your memory of water skiing sounded horrendous! More like a nightmare than a memory. Family holidays near lakes in Australia and prawning ( catching prawns when there was a full moon with a net and a torch)are great memories for me. I love the project for quilters, what a worthwhile cause. Thanks for sharing your very valuable time with us. Love and blessings xx

My fav summertime activity was water skiing. 😃 I grew up on a lake in the summers in southern VA. Your story about water skiing reminded me of teaching my friends to ski for the first time.

Horseback riding with my Grandpa ( He was the stagecoach driver at Knotts Berry Farm in the early 60s) and gardening and canning produce with My Grandma. I spent every summer with them. FYI I tried water skiing once. Coming out of the water the pressure ripped my bathing suit top off lol I dropped back into the water fast to grab it and put it back on, and well, I never tried that again!!! 😃

Welcome back! I always love your Stitchy Tubes. The summertime activity I enjoyed the most was having NO school and NO homework and being able to read whatever I wanted without worrying about writing a book report or an essay. Like you, I am not at all athletic and hated any kind of sporting activities. These days I enjoy a good walk or easy hike for exercise.

So happy to see a video from you! My favorite thing in summer when I was young (a long time ago) was making a hopscotch game on the driveway with colored chalk. I would be out there all day. Kids today probably don't even know what that is!

Those Samplers you are reproducing!!!! The pink house!!! Can't wait. Thanks for the sneak peak. My favorite summer childhood memory was going to my Dads uncles house in Star Valley Wyoming. He owned a horse ranch and we rode horses for a week. I fell in love with horses and have loved them ever since.

I just loved your water-skiing story. It was like you were there at Redfish Lake in Central Idaho in the '70's describing my attempts at water-skiing. I'm definitely better at stitching. Thanks for the fun video. It's always fun shopping on your website. Great products, great service, and great packaging. Thank you, Wendy

Good to see you back! Favorite Summer memories, riding bikes, swimming in Lake Superior, camping, water skiing too. Not such a favorite part for this redhead😊 were the sun burns I usually got and the freckles that went with!

There is a way to teach anyone to water ski, and obviously your friends didn't know. if we were 40 years younger and my dad drove the boat, I would bet we could have changed your memories! thanks for all your work
