Bellissimo sound, ed interessante vedere le variazioni di potenza, con le modifiche apportate. Immagino la spesa per queste prove, ma per capire dove si.guadagna e dove si perde, purtroppo non ci sono molte altre alternative. Complimenti hai tutta la mia stima! 👍👍👍

Stock plenum is nice but ITBs def improve sound and throttle response, plus appearance! :) Thanks for sharing!

Haha, exactly! I should also have uploaded the torque curves; difference is actually noticeable at lower rpm's as well.

Interesting - would be great to see the full power and torque curves. What did you use for ignition with the carbs?

Yes, should have included a print-out of the curves. Ignition is just the same ECU as with the injection. (8 wire Dizzy)

What you guys think of: Weber 40s as throttle bodys and retain original injector position ? Thinking of doing this for a TS conversion.

It would work. All you’d need would be the TPS switch on one end of the carbs; you’re good. Never got the chance to try it on my ‘80 Spyder. I wanted to keep the OEM ITBs, and replace the mechanical injection with electronics. It should work on a TS.

@@oldschoolmotorsickle Yes TPS on the carbs, and possibly a MAP chamber connected to all the runners(?). Was thinking of cutting up old rubber carburetor mounts and weld a pipe of correct dimension to them and then just fitting these to the stock rubber hoses coming of the TS runners. Anyone know what to do for exhaust other then buying an expensive header? Would a Nord (105) exhaust fit on a TS? Maybe use adapters if it does not fit? Is port spacing same on TS and Nord for intake and exhaust?

That should work, but you'll need to port the original header a bit to match the 40 mm if I recall correctly. There is an adapter for a TPS that will fit bolt-on, but if you want to have a smooth running Alpha-N you'll need to machine or renew the throttle plate axis, or go indeed with a MAP and switch tables at a certain angle. All depends on your intentions; nothing is wrong with a good 2l Nord either! Port spacing #2 and #3 is different and headers don't fit.

I see the car is in Belgium. Could you elaborate on the permissibility of modifications of induction systems / fuel delivery? In Germany, the test centres are going more and more towards allowing original condition or modifications that represent a different officially available series variant only. There are fewer and fewer allowing at least recognised "contemporary modifications" (actually performed at least ten years before the car is registered "historical") and even fewer accepting new modifications that represent a theoretically possible modification at that time. Propose Jenvey ITBs (even Heritages) and you are out. What is the stance in Belgium?
