My first PnF chart was for my weight loss program! It's phenomenal! Noiseless. Dramatically shows the tug-of-war between two forces: * My eagerness to lose weight * My resistance to dieting With investments, it's a contest between sellers and buyers.

price level of 304 and 308 in Jan (1st month of the year), there were only 2 circles, how does that square with your traditional reversal of '3'?

The number "1" replaces the first letter "O" because it is the first entry for the month of January. Two "O"s go below it for the three box reversal. You do this for any month during which there is a box change to note a change in price. The first entry (up or down) for Feb will be 2 (followed by at least two "O"s), March will be 3, etc. When you get to Oct to Dec you'll use the letters A,B,C (instead of 10,11,12). A key rule of standard Point and Figure is requiring a minimum of three boxes move in prices to change a trend. This filters out the "noise", or small up and down movements in the stock price that cancel each other out and are ultimately insignificant in identifying a trend.

My 10 second point and figure chart repaints ,I'm using Tradingview ,and a repainting chart or indicators are useless they readjust to look perfect. Anyone with any info on this, thanks. I took a picture of the chart and in the morning the lines were different that's repainting and it sucks.

Tradovate repaints too, also repaints renkos. Thinkorswim rarely repaints renkos, but I don't think it has PnF. But if you are doing daily's, you could keep them by hand.

If not, you could always buy some graph paper at an office or school supplies store and do them by hand.
