I've tried the Evans and many of these other tricks, opponents rarely make the necessary opening moves to fall into these traps. The end result is that you're usually left in a bad position and have to play catch up in development, or worse.

2.18 "Qxd4" you keep doing this in almost every video there are horrible mistakes. In the game Qxb4 was played

Hey Stockfish good old chessbuddy, since the subject here is gambits, why don´t you upload a video on the Nesjmetdinov-gambit in the Siesta-variation in the Ruy Lopez? To be honest I have a personal intereest in this because I have analysis and variations on the Nesjmetdinov-gambit and I would like to know what you think of it. Is this gambit simply silly or was Nesjmetdinov a creative genius when he came up with the idea. That´s what I would like to know. So please help me mighty Chess-God. ;)

@@imhmingaf4nai155 Thanks. A lot of people have been ignoring me when I ask about the Nesjmetdinov-gambit. Maybe with good reason. I don´t know. Could be too exhausting to analyze, who knows. But with Stockfish there certainly is a tool AI or whatever one want to call it that can give me some answers. Maybe some grandmasters out of respect to their prestige doesn´t want to admit that they haven´t heard of it before. I think it has disappeared into oblivion like once the whole Scotch opening until Kasparov started to play it with succes. There might also be the problem that the Nesjmetdinov-gambit is called something else in other parts of the world. I found it in Jakov B. Estrin´s book called gambits.

@@Stockfish18 you know what , watching your videos , noting down your quotes and memorizing them gives me a good opportunity to speak in a conversation in groups. Usually , my sister mocks me by saying that I'm a weirdo who drives pleasure from watching chess videos of a monotonous bot. But I take pride in doing so , as I feel that it makes me so very different from people in my social circle and the fact that I actually enjoy watching your videos , and not just because I want to feel better about my intellect in comparison to others.
