My Father was sick for a long time and passed away last year. I wrote Rob an email to tell him how much his content helped me to get out of the house and stop feeling so sad. Within an hour he emailed me back to say he was glad he could help. Rob is a great guy who touches a lot of people with his videos. Just wanted to thank you again and say i'm sorry for the loss of Sarah"s father. The KZfaq community is here for you.

Yeah, we all have our different ways of dealing with grief. I get outdoors away from everyone. Just go hunting, fishing or go ride for the day! Whatever it takes to get your center back!

100% with ya on the "getting out" after a death. Went to the range after all of my grandparents, and went and sat in the woods alone when my dad died. Just helps to clear your head.

I know you guys are just getting into the summer months, not sure how many bass and bluegill you are planning on transferring, but you may want to think about freezing a water bottle or two for those hotter days, and throwing them into your transport cooler to keep the water slightly chilled. Will help with the stress of transportation and get them eating sooner. May look into using a small amount of rock salt as well. Not sure if that works for bass, but we used it for transporting rainbow trout to lakes to help ease stress.

The day after my grandfather passed a few years ago (on my dads side) we went fishing for 13 hours. We caught literal hundreds of sand trout and a few dozen specs. Best fishing day ever. Old man only used his dads fishing rod that day. The thing is gping on 50 years old. Orginal parts reel and rod So i feel ya on the needing to go out
