I love these Dutch waffles. We put them on top of a mug (with freshly made tea or coffee) and the heat from the drink melts the caramel :)

I do stockings in place of gifts, I fill with snacks and self care items and a few goodies the individual would like. Only need to add the orange the night before

The nearest Trader Joe’s, to me, is 2300 miles. I still thoroughly enjoyed the video. I am the stocking stuffer for my extended family of 11. I have always done, mostly consumables as well, because we don’t do a lot of junk food the rest of the time. Everyone always gets a pear or apple in the toe of their stocking, a handful of nuts in the shells, chocolate coins, a chocolate orange, candy coal (because no one can be good all the time), some kind of lip balm and a candy cane, as well as 2 or three of the smaller things on their wishlists, like hot wheels for my grandsons, good pens, for the adults and a pretty choker for my granddaughter. The cutting/charcuterie board is an excellent idea! I think you just found the last thing on my to buy list! Merry Christmas, Becka!

Consumable gifts are the way to go. I've had stockings that sat around after I opened them until the following year when I pulled them out to fill them up again. All the little items were super cute but weren't anything I needed so I never took them out again.

Absolutely love this video! Consumables or functional items I think are a great way to go for adults. I should have eaten before watching this though - now I'm craving Trader Joe's snacks! Emily's ears are always so gorgeous! I always try to include a couple of really nice, fancy treats that people wouldn't usually splurge on - like gourmet chocolates, really nice lotions, cologne, etc. Oh, and of course, chocolate coins!

I love the idea of totally edible stocking stuffers! My family usually does some candy but we’ve never done salamis or honey or anything, but that’s such a creative idea and all of those snacks can be used for Christmas Day as well! Other than candy my family usually does gift cards, lip balms, lotions, and things like that in stockings! My mom usually throws a little plushie in mine that’s Christmas themed because I’ve always gotten one ever since I was a kid. But I love the idea of a more practical stocking!

Those are so thoughtful! I love buying for stockings. I always try to put a special item in the toe of the stocking. You are an awesome “gifter”

They also had chocolate stuffed candy canes at my Trader Joe’s. Perfect to have peeking out the top of a stocking. I love all of the holiday themed treats and goodies!! Side note: if you have a peanut allergy in your family the sunflower seed butter cups are really good too. They are bigger and have 2 per package.

LOVE LOVE LOVE chocolate oranges! I haven't had one in ages, I'll have to ask for one next year for my stocking. My husband and I always go on Christmas Eve and shop for each other's stockings. It always ends up being a couple of practical things and then a silly item or two and some candy. It's a fun tradition!

This was a awesome video - I also don’t like putting little crappy stuff (technical term) in stocking. Consumables and items like the beautiful spoons and the hand creams. I will definitely be starting this tradition of TJ gifts. Thank you - great ideas!!

My mom and I do the stocking for my family. We get the 5 for 5 at Ulta for the ladies. This year also did buy 3 get 1 free at Target in the mens section this year. We always love to put the little alcohol bottles in the adult stockings as well. My dad loves the silly dollar tree toys so we always a few toys from there and my family does christmas on christmas eve so we spend all night playing with them after. My dad keeps all of the toys too because he is actually a child on the inside lol Of course we put some candy as well. My mom loves to put glasses cleaning clothes in them every year as well.

In my house, we refer to those Maple Leaf Cookies as a “danger food”. Whenever I buy a box, we literally inhale the cookies within hours of purchase. They are so, so good. Trader Joe’s does carry those year round (at least at the stores here in California). A year round danger. Lol. Great video! Enjoying this series! 😉

Everything looked awesome Becka 💜 not stockings, but I make up little treat bags for everyone. My niece gets all treats, chocolate Santa's, lollipops etc and the adults get some chocolate and treats, but also face masks, hand cream. This year I added sanitiser and anti bac wipes 😉 I also get every adult a wee miniature of their favourite drink, port, rum, whiskey, wine, Bailey's. Everyone's happy. Love the idea of the wooden spoons. Thanks pal 💖

If you sit the stroopwaffle on top of your hot tea/coffee mug it has the same effect as the microwave!

Oh I didn't realize you could get Walkers shortbread in America. I am from the UK. I love the shortbread. I have been to the factory in Aberlour before. There is a shop onsite. You could once get their cast offs in shape of a pizza for very cheap price. I am from the South of England but I go to Scotland for my holidays/vacations. Enjoyed the video. Very helpful for my stockings. Thanks

We do stockings too. Mostly candy but we do chapsticks, lotions, and then some small trinkets. We also do St. Nickolas which is candy coins a chocolate St. Nick/Santa and a pair of novelty socks. We do a 12 day of Christmas as well, from Dec 26 to Jan 6th. This year I’m just doing made up 12 day gifts...example 12 days of hot sauce for my son, 12 days of kcup coffee flavors for my Dad, and 12 shower melts for my Mom. Then we will do 3 Kings Day on Jan 6th which will be gold candy coins and usually that stocking stuffer that somehow got forgotten Christmas Day. Lol.

Oh, I miss TJ’s so much! This stuff is so cute. My closest one is an over crowded nightmare (pre-pandemic) and the line to get in now is nuts. The other one is by the office I haven’t been to since March. Maybe I’ll seek out one in the burbs. Truly the one grocery store I enjoy browsing in. My favorite place for party food too!

The idea od the stroopwafel is to put it on top of your mug or cup of coffee or tea so it will get soft and then eat it. Not in the microwave 🙈 (yes i am dutch)

Yes we do stockings, something for breakfast ( oranges, Kodiak pancake cups) toothbrush, chapstick, hot wheels, multitool, razors. The only consistent things are the breakfast item, toothbrushes and the razors for my husband.

I’m from Amsterdam and I loooove stroopwafels! I really recommend everyone to try them if they get the chance! Also, you pronounce the “oo” in stroopwafel as “oa” as in oatmeal. So you pronounce it as “stroapwafel”. I love your videos btw! I’ve been watching you for years now :) Happy holidays! ❤️

Trader Joe's isn't available in Canada....but Dare cookies has a Maple Leaf cookie that is about the same. Everything else looks delicious too. Thank you for sharing your stocking stuffer ideas
