I'm glad you liked the game. This is the Kickstarter prototype that I tried to get you to play when I visited Miami.

Solution: For the final round, you could just go in complete reverse turn order from the round before. That way the person who had to go first twice also gets to go last twice, much like a snake draft.

I am always an easy mark for a stock market game. I saw this game's Kickstarter come up and I loved the artwork and what I saw about the game so much, I couldn't back it fast enough. It should be coming soon. I am really excited about it.

I like the insider trading aspect. The artwork is also really good. Would consider this.

But is it better than Oneupmanship?

Got to play this at Gamefest last weekend. It was awesome. I learned how to play in 5 minutes. Components are top quality.

Would this be something you could use for the classroom for grade 8 students? Or would you suggest something else for teaching about the stock market or money management theme

I had a relative buy this for me for Christmas 5+years ago, and I usually look to see if there's a video game version of it to learn and master it for teaching first- there was a really well made version on Steam (even includes the first expansion) and the game is a lot of fun, I've only played 15 or so "hobby" games, so my opinion isn't the broadest, but it might be in my top 3. I assumed since it was big enough to get a steam adaptation it was a nouveau classic that would be perennially around, but it's already disappeared from production, retail or even ebay for less than 5x the price. That's a lousy thing about this hobby is so many enticing games come out every year, you get hit with FOMO - "if I don't buy it now I'll never have it"... and you end up spending too much money on games (and then you have to buy shelves to store them,) and most of them are too obscure to even get others willing to play them or you maybe play them once. And one thing Tom didn't mention AFAIK might be a minor flaw is the game relies on the honor system a little- since only the player knows if their face-down cards go bust, they could conceivably not reveal their face-down cards were of the busted stock's type when it happens and since the stock resets to it starting position after that, there is a way to cheat by lie-of-omission if you have someone in the play group who's that competitive (you might have bigger problems then if such a person's at the table.).

just had my financial management paper and all those TERMS. stock splits, dividends hahahah. considering this game just for the fact the topic tortured the hell out of me

Hmmm, just got my kickstarter version with the continuing corruption expansion and although it is a great game, the component quality is far from excellent. The board is thin and doesn't lay flat on the table, the cards are not protected with a finish and they're handled quite a lot in the game, and the chipboard is thin and warped. On top of that, the glue is coming off of both the game board and the player boards and peeling away. Maybe they sent you a nicer version somehow but mine is garbage - lowest quality components of any game I own, by far. :/ $60 MSRP?!?!
