I’m a 19 year old who’s currently awaiting my general certificate results, I had to redo unit 2 after submitting last October. This video was very informative I wish I had seen it before hand, it would have definitely helped :)

Great video as always. As someone of the younger generation, growing up with a computer in their home as standard, we get a lot of information and learn a lot from KZfaq. In saying that, I've watched all of your videos and find them extremely helpful especially while I'm gearing up for NEBOSH GNC. My question, if you don't mind is: Does the NEBOSH GNC expire? I can't find any information on this so I assume it doesn't. But the IOSH managing safely (which I hold) does expire so my natural thought was that the GNC expires also. Thank you again.

Hi, Thank you for Amazing content; is it necessary in NG-2 to put responsible person same for same activities like installation of LEV for different hazard in different departments of the industry. I have assigned the responsibilities according to the industry rules where I made the risk assessment. Will that could also lead to refer?

Can I copy Technical point from the scenario as it is and then give my clear demonstration on that technical point. If copying from scenario is not a plagerism and multiple learner's are doing the same . There would be no penalities from Nebosh right?

What if you have learning difficulties like I have dyscalculia. I feel that I need that tutor to be there and explain the syllabus. I have got through an engineering diploma and a cswip 3.1 welding inspectors qualification. But the fact that the tutor was there and gave us tips and tricks to help you through the exams made all the difference.

I have almost 10 years of practical experience working in Safety & Security Management here in Yemen mostly working for Save the Children (Humanitarian Non Profitable International Organization). Now ! Presuming The concept and cycle of Risk management (identify Threats, Vulnerability assessment, Risk Evaluation, mitigation, implementation strategy, monitoring & evaluation, then redo all over again) is pretty much the same regardless line of business, will Nebosh add up to my experience moreover will it expand my range of options in The work market? Also , can I self-prepare for it and just take the test?

You need to register with a Nebosh learning partner (such as Stockwell Safety) in order to take the exam.

I watch your every post and TBH it helped me a lot every step of the way from motivation to learning until passing exam. I would have taken DL NeBosh Dip if you were ( Stockwell safety) provided one. Does it still cost the same? And is that cost fixed all around the world? Can i take the test without a tutor or a median?? Like just pay for the test and take it? The partner learning guide link doesn’t work😢.

You don't need to do IOSH before you can do NEBOSH.

I'm strongly considering going for the National General Certificate - I feel that health and safety would actually be something I'd be good at. Study has always been my biggest hurdle though - I failed a BTEC, a foundation degree in engineering and a bachelor's degree in a humanities subject. I'm 29 now but got diagnosed with ADHD at 26 which explained so much. My biggest anxiety is applying to take the online course (I do not earn enough to pay for the classroom course) and then failing due to my own weaknesses in getting easily distracted when self-studying. I just hope I can get into a phase of hyperfocus when I do start studying again.

I seem to remember that there was a study done comparing average certificate holder salaries with diploma holder salaries that showed there was a significant difference. A Google search should throw up more detailed information.

I studied it online/remotely which I would NEVER do again! Believe me that NEBOSH is the last thing you want to accomplish in isolation! I think I started studying at the wrong time as I missed all the cut off dates signing up to take both the NG1 & NG2 plus my learning provider went on summer break later so it took me exactly !!!1 YEAR!!! ( March 2022 - March 2023 inclusive of receiving my certificate) to accomplish it ( even though I passed first time my NG1 & only had to retake my NG2 once) . Only needed 2 points for credits which I was gutted about. I had terrible tutoring which made worse by only being able to contact my learning provider via phone ( for 5 minutes as they said they had no more time for me). The bottom line is that the exams are difficult but I think classroom settings must be the best way to study for it as you have instant feedback from the tutor and can ask questions & perhaps properly prepare for the exams. I`m now planning to do the environmental certificate by NEBOSH and will definitely do it via classroom setting.

I don’t get it!! is getting a tutor a part of it , do you need to buy their courses to take the exam? Like you register before taking the exam ,you chose your tutor provided by nebosh then take their courses and take the exam eventually?? Can’t you just prepare to it yourself and go take the exam?
