It really is a great gun even if you’re not on a budget. The patterns are incredible out of the condor 1! Can’t say I’m the biggest Remington fan, but I do own a nice 870 that I bullet-proofed.

@@avidwaterfowler7522 I've had my condor in for repair. Benelli does try to take care of it's customers. O can break all the guns though. Nobody makes a redneck proof duck gun. Maybe H&R single shots. But...ya it's a good boy.

@@kriswarren6202 yeah, I would say the stoeger doubles are decent guns but probably not bulletproof. I have seem some stoeger doubles have light strikes on either a top or bottom barrel occasionally. That is one manufacturer I don’t care for…. Benelli. Never had more issues with a gun manufacture than them.

Hahaha. Say what you want, but that xpert snow goose is killer on small ducks to big geese! It is the best steel load I’ve used yet in 12ga. I’m basing this mostly on birds taken in the field. I mostly shoot bismuth in 12ga and now 20ga. However, steel is still my go to in the 10ga.

I could agree more. No frills, just a solid gun for any budget. I wish this made this model in a 20ga!

@@avidwaterfowler7522 i agree. I have 4 sons. Ages 10,11,12,13 that would all love one. For the price i csn just buy regular one in 20gan sandblast itn then cerakote it since i have a good setup and ovens for it...🤔

You will love it. It’s about the crudest gun I’ve ever owned, but I have enjoyed it tremendously thus far.

Thanks for watching! I have the Carlson waterfowl 3 choke tube set. Comes with a CR, MR, and LR. I have taken quite a few pheasants, doves, and ducks. I have not taken any geese yet. It’s really one hell of a shotgun for the price point!

I kept the gun for about 2 years. It provided great service over those two years. I actually upgraded to a browning cynergy with 30” barrels. It does not use mobile choke, it happens to utilize invector choke.

I ended up selling that gun about a year ago to upgrade to a browning cynergy. The stoeger held up great the entire time I used it which was about 2 years.

This gun has held up 100 percent with no issues. I took it to a buddy’s where a few of us were shooting clays, and it was a fan favorite. Two of the guys couldn’t believe how awesome it was for $320 bucks. One of them shot it better than his browning maxus. I also used it to hunt doves a bit this season. This is a sample size of one, and I could have gotten lucky. This is not the typical gun level I usually buy. As for do I think it would work for getting into clays? Yes, I do. Just make sure it fits you and you’re comfortable with it. This is a very crude but functional gun that is made in Brazil. The CZ’s are works of art for their price range which is still in the budget area. They are made by HUGLU in Turkey. I bought my first CZ a few months ago because I wanted a traditional side by side that I could afford. I am really happy with it and it looks like a gun I paid double for! In short, would this stoeger work for trying out clays? Yes, but if you like shooting clays as much as I do, a CZ won’t be good enough after a little while. Once you get bit by the over under bug, it becomes an obsession…

I enjoyed that Stoeger and it was a great gun to get me into hunting with an OU. I ended upgrading to a used Browning Cynergy.

They are standard browning invector. Also known as; win choke or first gen invector. I bought Carlson waterfowl choke tube set. If it fits mossberg 500, you’re good.

Absolutely. Just choose a choke that’s best for a deer option. It’s a great value and versatile gun.

@@gaetanosanchez7217 trust me, I understand. I’d have killed to have a gun this nice when I started bird hunting. I started with a maverick88 that I got used for about $100 back in 2005. I did recently upgrade my hunting over under to a browning cynergy wicked wing that I got for a good price used, but there is still nothing wrong with this stoeger. I’m just at a point in life where I can start to afford the nicer things in life after years of not.

Yes, you can fire either. If no one has ever explained chamber sizes in shotguns; here is a quick synopsis. When you look at a guns chamber size, you can fire up to the length stated and anything less than, not more than. For example: my Remington 870 super mag has a 3.5” chamber so I can fire 2.75”, 3”, and 3.5” shells.

This stoeger comes with 28” barrels. The long Fowler version is 30”.
