I own several $600-$800 pistols and I brought this for about $300 and I absolutely love carrying this as my edc I can’t believe how well this pistol shoots zero issues with 100’s of rds put down range

PSA offered them on sale , with free shipping, and $100 factory rebate in a "black Friday" sale around Thanksgiving. I bought one for $169 tax included. I immediately started looking for spare mags and found two "like new" on eBay and ordered those. I received the gun and the mags and took it out for a test fire. I'm a fairly good shot with a pistol, but I was grouping low and left at 20 yds (app. 2.5"), My son-in-law who is a leo and a southpaw shot the gun consistently accurate from the get go. He is a Glock fan and had nothing bad to say about the gun. Once I tweaked the sights just a little bit, I was deadeye with it too. I've shot several different types of ammo without any hiccups. I carry it in an IWB leather holster at my waist or wearing a light jacket I can carry it inside the holster and in my front pants pocket. It is barely noticeable either way. The Stoeger STR-9SC is a great value and I would recommend to anyone.

Appreciate the review my main carry is a Cz P01 but some places you can't legally carry and for all the mass shooter zones I want something p365 size

I have the P365 (two of those!), the S&W M&P Shield Plus, The SA Hellcat, the Glock 26, and the Ruger LC9s, and more so my little collection runs the full range... I can honestly say that after approximately 400 rounds through the STR9sc, I cannot find a single flaw in it. It fires smooth as butter, has an excellent trigger and is easily cleaned and reassembled. Oh! And i can't neglect to mention the fit and finish of this pistol, which is really, really good and durable. I am nothing less than impressed, and I am looking forward to any future offerings from Stoeger in the pistol line. I would absolutely recommend this firearm to anyone for everyday carry and self-defense. While this pistol comes with only one magazine (Additional magazines are 30 bucks as of this comment) I cannot complain about that simply because of the price for this firearm. Again, I would absolutely recommend the STR9sc to anyone looking for a reliable, no-issues weapon. Run out and get one, order a couple of additional magazines... You will not regret it.

I bought the STR-9 for just over $200 and ran several hundred rounds through it. My experience is similar, it’s a great gun. The budget price is a bonus. I only had one failure to feed but it was old remanned ammo. It ate all new ammo without a single issue.

Vance’s has the Tisas PX-9 for $199. Got one this weekend. Night sights, two 15 rd mags and zero failures with 200 plus rounds.

@Ruben R. It's an awesome gun. I literally haven't found a single flaw in it. If it said Glock on it instead of Stoeger, people would easily be willing to pay $500 for it. There are quite a few KZfaq reviews of people who've put 1000 to 5000 rounds through them without issues. I feel like I practically stole it at the $200 price tag it had during the sale. Even the $349 regular price is still a crazy good value.

@slygalvez35 I had to search around a bit. I ended up getting a holster that was intended for an H&K VP9. Only downside is that it's a little longer than my stoeger since the VP9 has a longer barrel. It's not that noticeable though. Alien Gear makes a holster for the bigger STR-9, but not the 9sc for some reason.

Bought the str9 sc a few months ago and shoots perfectly, kinda tricky to put back together after cleaning it, but it's not bad. All in all, it's a great pistol, my new daily carry

I do have one as it was so inexpensive. Took a while to find a couple extra mags. I do like how it shoots and it has been 100% reliable for 300 rounds.

Where did you get your mags? I just got mine and was looking for a 11, 12 or 13 rd or a 10rd with pinky. They all seem to be sold out everywhere.

Was unaware there was a 13 rounder SC with an added spacer/baseplate I grabbed the 9C 13 rounder. Agreed ALL the mags hard to find

@@lr5658 yes, but have the 1.5 inch or plus gap. Wished I could make or find a similar spacer sleeve for another mag. Definitely gonna find one that fits flush. This is my truck glove box gun

I’ve carry the Glock 19 for almost a decade and finally switch over to this 9SC and love it. It’s smaller and compact. The trigger is awesome, and like you mentioned, it’s probably the best budget gun out there. My grouping is just as good as my G19 if not better. Love the video man, keep it up and I love my Stoeger 9SC with two extra 13 round mags for my everyday carry. I run red dot and light on my carry. Keep it up and thanks

I just use a IWB glock holster. Fiddled around with the tension screws and it fits great.

People seem to shy away from Stoeger because they're not really familiar with the name, other than shotguns. But they're a German engineered gun, made in Turkey, imported by Benelli USA. The five year warranty surprises me because of the level of quality control for which Benelli is known.

I have the 9C that came with 1 magazine and it shoots great! Benelli is owned by Beretta, so Stoeger Industries is their budget line.

Stoegers are German engineered? I thought Stoeger was a sub of Beretta (Italian) and it was manufactured in Turkey. Who designs their guns?

I personally I can not afford a Glock, but men, this one,I got it for $289.89 and it's an outstanding good quality firearm very similar to the Glock, the trigger, the field strip its the same and the best of all it has steel sights no polymer I recommend this gun 100%

I just watched a video showing that Canik mags will fit the Stoeger STR-9 series. They were using the Canik Extended mag.

the STR series is not 'new-new'...they have been around at least 5 years; previously Beretta transferred machining for the series 8000 Cougar to a factory in Turkey and continued the series 8000 Cougar under the Stoeger name

I don’t see anything wrong with guns outsourcing their production. I had a $1000 Springfield 1911 and the lower iirc was made in Brazil. The Turkish competitors are making some nice shit at bargain prices.

I have a Glock 26 and this looks more ergonomic than the 26 I hate the hump on it this looks much better.

it is extremely ergonomic, the only con about these guns is the aggressive back strap. but fits your hand like a glove at least mine.

Stoeger would have an even better EDC if they narrowed the width of the STR-9sc. They're capable of doing that based on their yet to be released STR-9mc.

good review of a good gun. I purchased the SRT9Cfor 279$ outstanding little shooter.have run 500 ads thru it ...not a ingle hi cup. turkeys" long guns and pistols are not your grandfathers pistols ,rifles/shotguns . their factories are the equal os any in Europe or the US of A's.they also produce a series of military drones that are cheap but deadly...see what russia thinks about them when their turrents are blown off their T-74s by the ones the Ukrainians are using.

DeSantis makes a holster called “Heat” . Find the one that is made for the Glock 26 … Fits great and comfortable to carry 👍

I have the str9c dessert sand and black love it dead on right out of the box no problems. To all of you who are looking for a good budget gun jump on this one before it starts gaining popularity and the price goes up. You can’t go wrong.
