I'll be reading and rereading "Meditations" by Marcus Aurelius, "Letters from a Stoic" by Seneca, and "Discourses and Selected Writings" by Epictetus during my breaks at work which is hard work over 90 days. Perfect for Stoicism. 🤔 📚

I am a big fan of these stoic quotes. Particularly I like this one: Don’t seek for everything to happen as you wish it would, but rather wish that everything happens as it actually will, then your life will flow well.

Markus Aurelius errs in stating, that the truth never harmed anyone. It harms the liars, deceivers and all those who make hidden plans, even if they are for good. Even the truth about your self, if carefully administered at the right time, can harm you. I share Markus Aurelius' appreciation of the truth, but, at least in that quote, he does not approach it with the due respect. In a way truth is a force of nature, if will crush you, if you are not sufficiently careful.

Well, I repeat a common criticism of stoicism, that it tends to require a level of self control that is unrealistic to attain for many people. Well, I would say, unrealistic for some people. Most just need to exercise more ...

Pass -thru I hope for peoples to unionize the flow of the Energies of each being . And as we bring all of ourselves into single harmonized with itself Truely. And then take upon the will of Truth as you , being the negative duality or / now. The external Duo in and Out. Sinlgle mind within/ body heart mind.. then bring Truth in as alternate Duality, and Oneself grasping at the fallen to rise. This would bring Ego and duality Poles even The three columns unite as a Filament. But duality poles have to be Natural Balence
