Absolutely, this quote emphasizes the importance of resilience and inner strength in the face of life's challenges. Instead of wishing for a life without difficulties, it encourages us to seek the fortitude and determination to overcome obstacles. It's a reminder that adversity can be a powerful catalyst for personal growth and development, ultimately leading to a stronger and more resilient self.
@quotesenglish9 ай бұрын
You're absolutely right. Many things in life, including personal development and the cultivation of one's mind, often require effort, dedication, and hard work. Whether it's acquiring knowledge, mastering a skill, or achieving personal growth, the process of working towards these goals can be incredibly rewarding. The effort you put into self-improvement and learning is an investment in yourself, and it can lead to a more fulfilling and enriched life@@wandabeasley3419

Right now my life is surrounded by difficult situations and intense changes. Lots of obstacles and difficult decisions. But I've been meditating for years and take cold showers every morning. I also read sacred Pali texts and also listen to Pali chants online. I see my difficulties as challenges. They barely bother me. It is what it is. Rather, my difficulties have motivated me to meditate deeper and longer. That's all you can do. Everything works out in the end. In this life or in the next. Breathe. Be still. Be grateful.

Im sorry but no, not everything works out in the end. Some people are sleeping in their cars cause things dont always work out in the end. People need to stop saying that.

@@miguelmelchior986 I agree 💯. Sometimes people are given the false belief that IF they live a decent life, treat their fellow human with the golden rule, follow words of wisdom and meditation practices from religious text and philosophers, their life will unfold without hurt, pain and/or suffering. They are guaranteed a life of "happily ever after". NOT True 😔
@deeplikeoceans9122 ай бұрын
@@miguelmelchior986 everyone will come across unexpected problems in life. It's going to hurt but we have to understand sometimes you cannot control the situation. But you can always control how you react to it, you can see something as homelessness as a trial of your inner strength and discipline.

Absolutely, reading original texts and sources is a valuable practice. It allows you to explore the authentic context and perspective of the author, which can often provide deeper insights and a richer understanding of the subject matter. Original texts carry the essence of the author's thoughts and intentions, making them a valuable resource for those seeking knowledge and a more profound connection with the material. So, indeed, remember to explore the originals whenever possible for a comprehensive understanding.
