Not long after this, I was on a short course at Garrets Green Technical College. The I.T. lecturer was a Stoke fan. The first thing he did after introducing himself, was to ask if there were any Birmingham City fans in the class. We put our hands up and he said "right you have all failed!" I then said to him. I think it was really nice of you to build a nice new stadium for us to beat you 7-0 in! Luckily he had a good sense of humour!

Blimey, we had some class players back then. Hughes, Forster, McCarthy, Furlong, Bruce.

We have stoke away tomorrow. I pray for a repeat of this 😂
