Important question, but what's the material for those elbows that are holding the mattress? Ours didn't come with them

They are steel L brackets that come with the kit.

Did you have to buy a conversion kit

Yes I had to buy a conversion kit that allows you to extend. It didn't come with the initial Crib

For all those desperates daddies out there: pay attention, the mattress support could be upside down!! There’s an important difference due to the screw holes…
