The plaintiff and defendant used to date. The defendant moved into the plaintiff’s apartment, but the plaintiff ended up being incarcerated for most of their relationship. The plaintiff says the defendant agreed to file his taxes while the plaintiff was in prison, but the defendant kept the money. He’s suing for stolen money and emotional distress. The defendant admits he cheated on the plaintiff. He’s countersuing because he claims the plaintiff assaulted him and bloodied his face.

The defendant is an absolute jerk. The plaintiff clearly has a lot going on and is a mess himself but the defendant is a nasty person. That guy he brought with him needs to run and not look back.

Actually, I goofed 😐, the defendant wasn't saying false statements about the plaintiff, what the plaintiff said was 100% truthful, but the defendant didn't reply back, no false statements, cursing
