15 жыл бұрынStone Temple Pilots perform Army Ants off of their second studio album - Purple - while rocking PNC Pavilion in Cincy, OH.
Scott Weiland stated that they had not played this song since the 1994 tour, some 15 years ago!
STP is currently in the process of working on their sixth studio album - tentatively due out late 2009...and on a small East Coast tour for the next week or so...go support them if you can!
This was the VC's only Summer '09 tour stop...but it was SO FANTASTIC - got to hang with MY BOY aH and Pete, chat with the DeLeo Bros for a small while, and finally got to hear 7CT live again. Great stuff!!!

@PalmtreeBand This is prob their most underrated rock song (and Adhesive among the ballads). I always wanted to hear it live , and out of 15 times seeing them, they never played it. This was awesome for me. It's awesome hearing real fans come out of the woodwork and hear them comment about STP as well. Will check your band out!

Incredible! One of my fav STP songs...Scott's voice today is most equipped to sing the songs on Purple. This was a monster!

@calio99 I wish I could make it to all their concerts. I saw them in Louisville on 3/30 or 31/10. I was 3 rows back and 2nd seat from the center aisle. It was the best one yet for me, blissful!! I'm going back to Cincinnati on 8/25 and Columbus on 8/17. I hope you have a great time in Sturgis!! Get some video or pics if you can. :)

Its funny, when this band came out they were called a Pearl Jam ripoff. Sorry but Pearl Jam is nothing close to as versatile as STP. Scott has a beautiful voice and is one of the top ten front men of all time. I like Pearl Jam but not comparison IMO.
