It really bugged me later when I realized how much we as fans had forgotten him already...... I mean I was turned off by the whole velvet revolver thing and I just forgot about them. Yea, there is a tendency to think that the time when we young was when music was at its peak, but looking back the 90s was a good time for rock - based music. The previous decades were great too. It does seem like things have gone downhill over the last several years. Hopefully rock music where people play Instruments will make a come back.

And Facelift by Alice In Chains. With that said I was always pissed when the top 4 as they were always referred were Nirvana, Pearl Jam, AIC and Soundgarden…always in that order, when I always loved Stone Temple Pilots more than Pearl Jam and Soundgarden. Let's not disparage backup singers or extra guitarists. I saw Foo Fighters last year and their touring company included three backup vocalists who were absolutely excellent. They brought their guitar tech out to solo on a song and he was also great. But it's fair to say there's no weak links in this band. Scott, Robert, Dean, and Eric are all amazing at what they do.

The '90s, man. The fuckin' '90s. We should have appreciated that precious decade more while we lived through it. It gave us '90s rock (from Grunge to the Prodigy and everything else you could imagine), PlayStation, Nintendo 64, Dreamcast, etc, WWF Attitude Era, France 1998 (the last great World Cup), the Simpsons (I know it started in 89, but it started to really shine in 1990) and arguably the best decade for movies (along with the '70s). Think of all them, across all the genres: Terminator 2; Jurassic Park; HEAT; Scream; Clerks; Se7en; Titanic; Almost Famous. And we had the Internet when it was young and free, before the money men came along and fucked it up. Man, we had it good. We had it really, really good.

We all know click tracks have been around long before this... the point is, the band never used them, and never recorded 'to the grid' - as both the DeLeos have said. So now you have to go find something else to pick a fight about. Maybe you'd like to point out 'bullshit was invented long before this you silly goose' or something like that. I'm not sure what your purpose was, or what goes on in your REAL life that you put on this performance but it's inane and comes off as desperate.

Love how Scott just walks up so casually to the mic and the second the music starts he goes nuts dancing.....great entertainer.

That guitar solo on Lady Picture Show is amazing. So melodic, love the little flourish at the end....

I think he might be my favorite lead guitar player. He’s like Alex Lifeson. Decades go by before people realize how godly he was. The solo on Coma is unrivaled.

He was the best frontman at no point of any time. He was decent, but certainly not great. And he simply cannot be compared to mega-talents like Chris Cornell, Eddie Veddar, Layne Staley, and so many more from his era. He couldn’t even compare to Kurt Cobain. Their music was good, but not that good.
