I saw them four years ago with my good friend. Both of us are huge. Stone Temple Pilots fans were blown away at the performance tomorrow I will see them in Traverse City with my sister, and I am just beyond excited very happy. They have continued with their music after Scott’s tragic loss. No one could ever replace Scott, but Jeff does one hell of a job.

Just be thankful to hear these songs live! Yes its definitely not Weiland, which are huge shoes to fill.. but this guy sings the fuck out of STPs catalog!! Keep it Rockin' Jeff! ✌️

I think the best thing is he’s not trying to sound like him obviously nobody will ever sound like Scott, but this guy is doing a damn good job. If you ever heard Scott live, his voice is way different live than it is on the record.

My coworker & I had just finished up a job in L.A. & had heard that STP still had some tickets for their upcoming show available the week Scott went D.O.A……. I was kinda bummed that morning when the local radio broke the news he was no more & the show was unexpectedly cancelled . I honestly had no idea they are back with this new guy & are out playing live again . Cool . Maybe I’ll get to see this second incarnation play sometime live , other than here on KZfaq

Man, Jeff is killing it. There is no vocalist I miss more than Scott (okay I love Layne), but man the band is tight in 2024 because the DeLeo's are genius, and Eric Kretz is still a power house on the drums (and woefully underrated). If you haven't seen Robert's Rick Beato interview, go watch it.

Whoa I like him. It’s like he mixed in some of Scots moves with his own vibe here and there but he doesn’t look like he’s actually trying to cop Scot as much as he’s trying to pay tribute to his style. Maybe I’m speaking too soon

i see tons of comments saying how good this guy is and how he has the sound and the moves. he is ok. but lets get real. this guy does not have the energy or the sound of the real singer. good for them to find a guy to do it. good for the fans to have a show to go to but lets not say he is spot on etc etc. i see some comments say he is spot on. i think they need to go listen to the album and then watch this again and tell me he is spot on. that is a slap in the face to the original singer.

STP was one of my favorite bands when Scott was part of it, when they reformed with the new guy it was obvious that it would be more of a cover band type thing which is ok. BUT if they wanted to really put on a show then they need to ditch the 14 over played songs they endlessly repeat, and go with all the wonderful deep tracks in their catalog! If Jeff is unable to sing those more obscure tracks then get someone who fucking can! is not rocket science and this band has so much more to offer than a boring greatest hits only format.

Tired of everyone thinking Jeff is trying to take Scott’s place. Sadly and unfortunately we don’t have Scott anymore, and Jeff acknowledges Scott’s memory quite a bit. I even heard he won’t sing a lot of the songs through a megaphone, because that was Scott’s thing and he wants to keep it that way. With all that being said, this guy is good and I think is the best lead for STP since Scott.

There can never be a replacement for Scott, Layne, Bon…enough with the comparisons. Let them move on and do their thing

I'll never forget the day the STP website had a massive statement on the front page "Scott Weiland has been terminated" - I thought to myself, what an awful way to treat someone, how cold and corporate. Well boys, you've got your little corporate gig going on now, playing in the blazing sun on the lunchtime slot with a singer who didn't even win an X Factor TV show contest.

Going to see STP in LA, to reminisce, The DeLeo Brothers are awesome musicians, not a big fan of Jeff Gutt vocals, he does well on certain songs and misses on others. At the end im just happy STP is still around even though their best is the past.

Ok so I took myself an objective listen.. I have NOT heard them without Scott up until this point and I will say that whomever the guy is that's "walkin' shoe wore thin" is doin'an admirable job. It really doesn't matter who it is cuz theyre gonna get criticized either way! But one things for sure, dudes got a lotta balls steppin' into the front-line of STP! - When I started listening to this show I figured I'd shut it off in less than 5 minutes but guess what, I just listened to the whole damn show and i admit that it wasn't too bad! ✌️ **And now that I've thought about this for a minute, it is kinda disrespectful for this singer to come out there trying to dress like and look like Scott Weiland all the way to the slicked back dyed-hair.. ~ it doesn't work for me! - If the dude could ditch the costume and be himself maybe he'd be OK??
