I lost my brother to a cocaine laced with fentanyl overdose this past spring. This song reminds me of him a great deal, he was a country music fan and would have hated this song. The intro has a country feel to it and the subject matter is very poignant. His birthday was yesterday, love you Mike, see you on the other side.

@The Ninth Heart What am I talking about? Anyway , I think that.."A Bustle in Your Hedgerow" was prolly Phils best "Post Pantera". It explored a lot of elements from the likes of jazz "Lies, I don't know what they mean ,but..." To blues " Learn from this mistake".. And " Where I'm going". Great tracks , even though they don't really fit Phil's style and range.

A bout of deep depression. Can't seem to move it forward. My lying eyes lie awake. Not sure what I am after. I never died before. Can't live what happened yesterday. I never stoned the crow, no. Flip through endless stories. A life of hand-written pain. No one can share this hurt that is mine, mine, mine. I never died before. Can't be what happened yesterday. I shouldn't stone the crow, no. Ride on! Same old city, same old pain. No matter how I try, No matter what I say, I'm blamed, I'm shamed, I'm judged unfairly. So now I've died before. It feels as bad as yesterday.
