Char Act III - Breaking Out [MSG: THE Origin AMV]

Seeing as a lot of people seemed to enjoy the first Gundam Origin AMV I made 2.5 years ago I decided to get to work on a sequel AMV depicting mostly episodes IV + V. Due to a combination of heartache, work & lack of motivation it took about a year to make with lots of long breaks in-between editing. Hopefully this video will be worth it for those of you who have been waiting for an "ACT III"!
I'll get to work on the final Gundam Origin AMV using the Protomen's song "This City Made us" from 2015. It will depict Operation British, episode VI & the beginning of 0079. Please look forward to it!

the true cruelty of mobile suit gundam is that to win they have to strip the humanity of these children so that they might win a future that they, the children, themselves cannot enjoy

Constructively the voice overs/sound effects were a little loud. But that aside awesome work. Love it!

I really appreciate the constructive criticism! And I do agree to some extent, it took several renders to find a version where I was fine with everything but it seems I still have a lot to learn. Thank you for watching and have a nice day ^^

I love these origin vids and the music and how the music or fight sound amplifies in moments of high tension or dramatic parts real excites the heart :p keep up the amazing work!!!

This, this whole, i quess you would call it series, of AMV's is a jewel. I honely feel moved just as much, if not more so, as if i was watching the actual show. Great work, and i hope to see more in the future.

Anyone else notice that Char is experiencing G-forces in 0 gravity? He is literally in space, there are no G-forces to move his cloths or push him back in his "pressurized" cockpit.

Good question! Act II was named after the Protomen's "Act II" album which featured the track "Light up the Night"! I realised long after that my naming conventions made less sense than I wanted haha. I do have an idea for a 15 min AMV detailing the man's entire life so... That might he Act I.
