This movie ALMOST vanished off the face of the Earth. Thank the gods the good folks at Vinegar Syndrome saved it from permanent obscurity and cleaned it up so it's not so dark. That's kind of their specialty.

I've never heard of this movie until now. I'm on the hunt for this. It's the ultimate background movie for a Halloween party where the attendees are predominately in their 40s!! Big Fun!!

This reminds me of another horror spoof from the 90s called "The Silence of the Hams". Also, is there anything more badass than Charles Napier flippin' the bird? XD

OMG I saw this movie when I was like 11 years old and thought it was a comedy classic. And then I thought I'd just imagined the whole thing. But the killer's hummed music brings it all back. It was REAL!!! Still better than A Million Ways To Die In The West though.

Well there's at least one reassuring thing about this movie: it's comforting knowing that bad spoof movies have been around for decades.

So is the title supposed to be a play on "Psycho," a movie that came out 22 years earlier? That's... incredibly sad. Still, it seems like one joke in 50 here actually lands, which puts it head and shoulders above the SeltzBerg crimes against humanity.

A slasher spoof so far ahead of its time, it came out six years before Pumpkinhead!

You're lucky to have a (mostly) clean copy to review. I have a Brazilian VHS so darker that even correcting the brightness makes the film much more dark, so you can't see anything but the delayed subtitles :( At least I can watch how the movie sucks nicely now. Thanks Brad ^^

14:05 to 14:08 Heres' a fun fact about The Elephant Man movie: Believe it or not, it was produced by none other than parody legend Mel Brooks who went out of his way to have his name removed from the credits in fear that people who saw it attached to the film would go in thinking it would be a comedy. He also produced the Cronenberg remake of The Fly and John Hurt being the star of Elephant Man may explain why he was so eager to reprise his role as Kane from Alien in Spaceballs.

I bet this movie would have been a classic if David Lynch had directed it.
