I really hope we don’t have another extended hiatus after this. Everglow proved that they’re still capable of releasing bops! I need Yuehua to give them a comeback in Jan-Feb of 2024 that’s as universally loved as “Dun Dun”, “La Di Da”, and “Pirate”! Until then, this song is def a bop and I’m so happy to have them back!

*Sihyeon's back injury update!* Sihyeon recently said on the bubble that she had a hard time bending/correcting her back and couldn't go to the hospital because she didn't have time. At the end of the Barcelona concert, her pain increased and it was difficult to stand up for a while.. In bubble said she went to the hospital and was OK after the injection, so she said she's doing fine now..

That's a no go, man! If her back is messed up, she's GOT to go to a decent doctor, or a decent hospital. This is not even something to fuck around with. (Excuse language, trying to emphasize point here!) Believe me, she doesn't want to see how bad something like that can get, and how much it can change your life, obviously for the much worse. The Grade A idiots that manage these guys should know better. If someone knows her, please give her some better advice than just "Oh I guess you can skip it if you're scheduled to go on stage and STRAIN YOUR BACK all night in a concert performance. That ought to help." (Please recognize the sarcasm) This goes way beyond questions of kpop and "the show must go on" kind of thing.

When Everglow took the stage atKCon LA last night, the entire arena erupted, and everyone was singing along to Slay, Dun Dun + La Di Da (medley), and a ding that they did with Lappilus. ✨ THE QUEENS ARE BACK & ALIVE! ✨ All of them! After 2 struggling years, they finally made it and didn't disappoint. I'll be honest, I've never been a K-pop or any sort of pop music fan, but these girls really got me into this, once I found them. They were always persistent in their style, combining many genres in such a good and catchy way, and still managed to sound unique. Although EVERGLOW has few songs, everything is covered, from delightful and lovely tracks like "You Don't Know Me" and "Hush" to inspiring ones like "La Di Da" and "Salute" or absolutely aggressive ones like "Adios" (my favorite), "Dun Dun", "Company", and "First". Knowing the amount of talent, work, and dedication these girls (and the team behind) put into this name, it's been a very long and sad time, believing that was it for them. Unfortunately, they went through so many things, got many haters and controversy since their start. There are many (unfounded) reasons for that, but long story short, they were victims of their own success, which is sad, and many Forevers (myself included) thought the group was being disbanded. 💜 Enough with the sadness, we expected the worst and received the best! 💜 This song is a banger, the style we love so much is still here, and sounds better than ever. The members' look is outstanding as always, they are gorgeous, Yiren is still here, contrary to controversies and rumors. I'm very glad for her, she's a hard-working girl (I've seen some dance performances, and she nails it, a great artist, and a great figure in K-pop) and gifted with a warm and charming voice. This girl deserves to stay here forever. As for E:U, Yu-rim, Si-hyeon, Mia and Onda, I love their new look as well 🔥 Yes, it's been a long time, but we, your real fans, only realized how big of a gap this industry suffered without you. We'll always be alongside you, and never forget you, no matter how long you need to recover, we're called "Forevers" for a reason. ☄️ Thank you for delighting us, once again, and congratulations on all your achievements! I love Everglow so much and I'm so happy to see them back. I was really surprised that the song was mostly in English. And you can tell the girls have been working hard because their pronunciation is so clear. I would not be surprised if we got a full English project in the near future.
