I think they are in time loop, That’s why it is called “eternal”. Lee Min Ho saves himself from his evil uncle. And on last episode explains why the ID was with Lee Gon, he saved himself. Remember what he said, he always carry the ID wherever he go. EDIT: I WAS WRONG!! After watching the first episode again and again, it is Yeong who saved Lee Gon!! remember the ID of Tae Eul that was stolen from the old woman's box? It was stolen by Yeong!! And only Yeong is skilled in gun shooting. My other theory is its Lee Gon/Kang Shin Jae helped Yeong on saving young Lee Gon. Because when the shoes was focused, they were different, the body size of the savior changed when they were focused by the camera. AND OMG GUYYSSS I THINK IM RIGHT TAE EUL AND LUNA IS THE SAME PERSONNNN, SO MANY THEORIES, I pity those who don’t watch this but judging saying its “BORING”. Its getting interesting every episode. Only high IQ people will love this drama 🤣 The best drama of 2020 so far (in my opinion) and best OSTs.

In episode 6, when the two of them returned to their world, I felt a little heartbreak for them, especially Tae Eul. She is slowly liking Lee Gon but has to leave him. She waited for him even though she didn't know how long to wait and couldn't find Lee Gon because only he could come to her. So when they met again at the end of the episode, I really cried when I saw Tae Eul's teary eyes.

I really dont understand why this drama ratings keep going down.. tbh the first 4 episodes might be boring for some people but that was actually the backgorund of this drama so you could understand the entire drama.. but believe me this drama is actually really good!!!! The coming week is the finale TWOTM. So I hope after that the korean audience turn their attention towards this drama because this has everything you need in a drama and it truly deserves high ratings! I understand that this can be a bit confusing in the beginning but I sincerely ask the people who left the drama halfway to give it a second chance and I guarantee you you wont be disappointed!! It gets better and better with each episode !! And 8th ep was just mind blowing. The twist at the end got me awestruck!! Just 8 ep in and it already became one of my all time favourite kdrama!! I hope Korean viewers see its worth!!!!

Also, TKEM is the special edition of ordinary korean drama. The actresses and some actors have to act twice for two different characters! TKEM should be considered for great series!!

I don't think I can handle the impending emotion of the drama. I already feel so sad for the main couple. Judging by how composed he is when he knows he's in danger (Japan military scene), I have a feeling he's going to sacrifice himself some way or another in the ending and it's going to be a sad drama.

I can agree to this because King Lee Gon knows that Tae Eul is not a danger for him, he is the danger for her. I am seeing a sacrifice in the end since two worlds can never be one.
